THE NEXT GREAT LOVE/LUST POEM
You are as mystical as the milky way,
A majestic and mysterious shooting star
Parsing a night sky,
And to say I fell in love
Well,
That would be a lie
Because your galaxy contains no gravity,
We float weightless
While you ravage me
Savagely
The velocity of typhoons
Can't consume
Quite quick enough.
Your passion leaves gentle footprints,
Scattered yet not barren,
Lassoed about my aura
Like cowboys,
Just the right kind of rough.
It's love,
It's lust,
It's combustive libidos that have to readjust
Just...

To Me
Poetry to me
Is the
View from eagle's eyes hovering,
A 3rd party
With foreign insight.
Poetry to me
Is the exact moment
In the timespace continuum,
When two strangers' glances
Meet
And everlasting love is manifested
Between unsuspecting souls.
But it's also that one second too late
When that glance could have
Taken place,
But just missed...
Poetry to me,
Is mended dreams unseen.
Soaking sun on warm benches
While dawns dew still drips.
It's the universe's drying tears
Dripping
From tips

Love Blossomed
Love blossomed
At the intersection of lust, dreams and desire,
Where crowded clouded skies
Yield to chocolate cream sunsets,
Harbors can’t harness the depths
Of passion
So pervasive you can taste it
You make me laugh,
You’re a sack of something else sometimes,
I laugh uncontrollably
At your antics
And inappropriate chimes
About the things you’d really like to say to your boss,
Or certain friends who might be overdoing the lip gloss,
And what types of clothing are just too close to dental floss
When you came through...

When We Die We Go To Chocolate
I believe that when we die we go to chocolate.
Depictions of heaven with the clouds and angels,
Actually melt in my milkshake fountains.
If i could eat one thing
With no future implications
That one thing would be ‘bad’.
I’m surrounded by snacks,
Suffocating in succulent sweets,
Treats,
Taunting my daunting weaknesses,
I think this is,
A ploy,
A plot,
A scheme coming straight from the Tooth Fairy who might be low on inventory,
Oh the glory
Of unwrapping
Those delectable delights,
Sprite size bites that invite so...

Prelude To A Dream
Still and solemn,
Drifting,
Sifting through
A filmstrip of events,
Moments
Rolling by,
Visual, graphic, muted,
Undisputed
Not suited
For retelling,
Dispelling substantive certainty,
Dreams inadvertently
Convey unconfuted fact,
It's how we interact with
Or better yet hack with,
Things we don't quite
Know,
Don't quite want,
Don't quite understand,
Don't quite realize,
Can't quite dream.
Decamping from days until dawn
A yawn
That signifies travel,
Wrapped in comfort, ...

Feeling Good
Usually when I write,
Words just tumble
In a downward slope,
Like ink is my breath,
Exhaling all hope,
But nope,
Not this time,
See this poem
is about feeling good,
Not depression
Or past suppression,
This is more of a
Recent history lesson,
How I felt the presence
Of a blessing,
That I still can not explain...
Did you ever just wake up
With that Orbit tooth tingle
Sitting on your shoulder?
Like "I love you"
Was reciprocated,
When you meant what you told her?
Like for once that boulder ...

Emerge
I can’t change what I’ve done in the past,
How I’ve built weak walls and let them crash,
The face of insecurity I once displayed,
Melts with reality as a man is portrayed.
Now in clarity I comprehend my self damage,
I see that through pain I’ve gained an advantage,
I’ve been face to face with death like most will never see,
The trials I’ve survived empower and strengthen me.
I’ve looked through the eyes of men and seen evil demons,
Flipped the iris to a mirror so it’s something to believe in,
I realize I’ve been places no man ever need endure,...

HE
He once held a blade to his wrist and attempted to splatter paint his vision in crimson burgundy…
He was tired of crying inside
And denying His lies,
And,
He was fed up,
With His
World caved in,
Iced with sin,
Where His manifested projections,
Were the world’s smallest violin
Playing to an audience of insecurities…
Behind His
Femurs of frigid apathy,
Inside rib cages of organs raped of courage,
Wept hidden tears
Of persevered
Guilt…
When did this all get so hard?
When did laughter
Become a challenge? ...

Ashkenaze
They used to murder people who look like I do...
Walk into villages
Shooting,
Beating,
Hanging people by the neck for show.…
Babies,
Heartlessly ripped from mothers’ arms,
Held by fragile ankles,
Dangled,
With genocidal intention.…
These were merciless vigilantes,
Wearing,
Demonic flesh
And dishonor’s dog tags,
Bearing black flags
Of mirrored malice,
And
With annihilation in their eyes,
Their weak souls
Still shone through their detest,
As they almost put an entire race
To rest...…
