Orphanage
Down into the drudgery
In pits of total misery
Children dark with empty eyes
Never smile but ever cry
Having nothing but their tears
Sharing nothing but their fears
Death is just a passing phase
Ends the tragic of the days
No one weeps when one should die
For the living...they still cry.......

LOVE POEM

Rose Colored Glasses
She sees this old world though rose color glass,
For the life she knows is in the pass…
She speaks to voices, no one hears,
She makes a point, but not too clear…
She waits for a man who breaths no more,
A gallant lad who’s lost at war…
So she lies and she cries and says silly things,
And she sits for hours twisting her ring…
The one that he gave her on the day they wed,
And vowed he’d return to share her bed…
And pure as the day that God gave her life,
She kept her vow, our virgin wife…....
For the life she knows is in the pass…

Endless Sea
As I ride on her rolling back, her pitch, it sings to me............................... She rocks me like my mothers arms, and whispers tenderly...................... Come see what yet has not been seen, come see this world anew......................... Come find yourself, that inner peace, that dwells the debth of you............... And I will smooth your weathered brow, and put your all at eaze................. And we will sail until the end of every endless sea...................

TIME
Oh precious time, where have you gone, why constant is your flow.................... You swallow us up and draw us on the where we fear to go...................You whisper the possibliities, you engulf us in your chants................., You make us believe we can do the don'ts, and attempt to can the can'ts...................We stumble and fall, but you beckon to us to rise and to venture on................. To race to the end of our own lifetime, then with a KISS,,,you leave us alone............We clasp onto you with such desperation, we who have come from the dust............. We are fools...
