Heart of Stone
Your eyes of emerald are the very beauty of you.
They search deep into my soul that has become so dark
And begrudgingly pull the light up through my throat.
Like a mighty sword they cut through my pale flesh,
Only leaving the naked truth for what I am.
Your magnificent smile is the essence of you.
It can brighten the entire world from the blackness
And make it shine ever so beautifully again.
Like a shining star it can guide me on my way
When I become lost in my endless thoughts.
Your touch is the warm sense of you.
Like trickling...

Nightmare
You were in my dream last night.
You were my superhero.
I was the helpless damsel in distress.
I was crying out for someone to save me;
I was cracking under the pressures of life,
But you swept down from the sky
And carried the world away off my shoulders.
You were in my dream last night.
You were my knight in shining armor.
I was the princess locked away in a tower.
A huge monstrous dragon guarded my keep.
He was my fears, blocking me off from the world.
But you came riding on you noble steed,
And killed my fears, reopening my heart....
You were my superhero.

Wolf and The Viper
I feel asleep in the arms of the Wolf,
As I slept beside the Viper.
The soft fur rubs against my back
As smooth scales lay aside me.
The low growls and hisses slowly drug me to sleep
As I feel razorblade teeth on my cold pale skin.
The two powers of the real world,
The personification of good and evil;
Wolf and the Viper.
Each night they join me in my bed as I sleep,
Persuading the other to leave.
Viper, with its trickery and condescending ways
Wraps itself around my mind and bites my soul
Trying to leak venom inside.
Though...

Decaying February
The frozen air slices through me as I stand alone,
Stand alone to watch to ghost of you slowly disappear.
I stand with my arms wrapped around myself,
As I try to barricade myself from the snow that falls.
My vision is blurred by spots of white that rain from Heaven
But through this I can see that you are gone.
You will not be coming back this time, never again.
The emptiness in my heart is felt from the hole you left,
You left me in pieces, and I’m too weak to gather myself.
From that second on, my February began to decay.
Newly fallen snow patiently...

Alice, oh Alice
Alice, oh Alice what a lucky girl you are.
To escape you need no magic; no wishing star.
Simply fall down a rabbit hole to utterly escape,
To a wonderland where your whole reality is fake.
No pain, no hurt, no discomfort here
As strange creatures of every sort begin to appear.
Alice, oh Alice you are one lucky girl.
You have the power to create your own world.
What I wouldn’t do for a world of my own,
Where every emotion is hidden, nothing is shown.
A place where worries go to wither away,
A place where I can completely be myself everyday....

Dead Dreams
I’ve consumed every inch of myself in you.
You’re all that I ever think about anymore.
But with every thought that enters my skull,
An invisible dagger slowly twists my heart.
With every dream that consists of you,
There is quiet sobs in the morning,
When I realize that it was only a dream,
And that it will forever and eternally stay.
I know that you do not feel for me as I do for you,
It shatters my heart to know you love another,
But you were never mine to love in the first place.
I scream at myself when I think of you,
I silently cry at...

Ghost
You are like my own personal ghost
That follows me everywhere I go.
There is not one place I can be
Without feeling your presence besideme.
Every second I breathe another breath,
I can feel your hands movein around my waste.
With the blink of an eye I can see your smile inmy head,
I can see your body.
Late at night when I should be dreaming,
I stay up and make my own dreams.
I imagine that I am in your arms
Andyour heartbeat is singing me to sleep.
With every snowfall that comesI look up into the sky,

After Me
My body may be in this place,
But my mind is far away
Off in the landof solitude.
This place is like a poison to myself,
All it does isharm me the longer I stay in here.
I have no reason to be here
Otherthan to be with you,
But darling I must go now.
It breaks me to saybut i must leave.
I wish to be a wolf,
So I can run far away from thisplace
But still have the sense of knowledge
To know my way back toyou.
My love you know I must go,
But you need not to stay here either.
This place doesn't need us; we don't need it. ...

Unanswerable Questions
I tried to see the good in life.
I tried to do this without a knife.
I can’t pretend anymore.
My body is bruised, my heart is sore.
I’m tired of being something I hate,
Can you see what a monster I make?
I wish to rip and tear off my mask,
It only reminds me of the horrid past.
This smile plastered on my face is a joke,
I can talk no more, on your words I choke.
Why can’t time heal me, why am I not well?
Why is my pain so easy to tell?
Let me be content, allow me to live.
I have nothing more to be, nothing more to give.

That Broken Girl
I know a girl; she’s quiet and shy.
She wears a lot of black,
And always has a hoodie covering her face.
Her hair is a mess, and it’s always covering her eyes,
So no one can see that’s she’s really crying.
Nobody really talks to her,
And nobody ever makes an effort to.
Everyone stays away from her because she’s different and hurt.
Her obvious pain is visible for all to see.
Her skin is pale from being so cold.
Her arms and legs are covered with bruises and scars
From the people that have beaten her;
From the people she was too weak...

Fairytales and Realities
Every dream I’ve ever had, every night
It was you who was there lying next to me.
The warmth of your embrace was all I needed
To make it through the blistering winter nights.
Your heartbeat would be my own personal lullaby
The up and down of your breathing lulled me to sleep
Like a baby in a rocking chair sleeping so silently.
Your lips gently grazed my head before slumber,
The feeling that you loved me was all around.

Poisoned
Twisted and turned to all directions,
My mind is choking me,
Forcing me to breathe out poisonous words.
Red stained tears spill from my eyes
As air chokes me to death.
Venom speaks my tongue,
I cannot control myself.
I am not myself.
My bones feel as ash, I cannot stand.
I lay on the cold concrete
As poisonous venom spreads through my thoughts.
Eyes go wide, limbs go numb.
Red surrounds me in a pool.
Thoughts go blank, my mind goes dark.
I close my eyes
As dark waters fall down my pale face.
Sprawled on the ground; lifeless....
