Anguish Ahoy!
Anguish Ahoy!
Deep in the shadows of murky darkness,
Forever there, it awaits me.
To claim my soul for the keeping,
Its grasp takes hold, there’s no escaping.
Drags me below, into the darkness so deep.
Falling, I cannot breathe,
My eyes are blinded, my body numb and weak,
Capsized heart and sunken ship,
Aquatic casket, my own crypt.
Deep in the shadows of murky darkness,

Sparrow's Despair
Rest, I long for each and every night,
Hopeful of finding a mere fragment of light.
But the darkness takes hold,
Weighing down my wings, with a grip so tight.
Reminding me of my ensuing fate.
Nothing to reverse this curse,
Time's has run out, it's far too late...

Pulmonary Cataclysm
My heart is heavy, my spirit broken,
Aboard a ship that’s vigorously sinking.
Thoughts are spinning, tied in knots,
Seeking answers, all words are lost.
Twisted mind, hollow bloodshot eyes,
Shallow breathes harmonize along anxious sighs.
Beneath the surface, void of light,
Symphonic miseries dance amidst the twilight.
Tick Tock times now forgotten,
Dreams have been unwoven.
No longer will this ship take sail,
Capsized and submerged, abandoned and sunken.

Blind Misery

Blind Misery
I saw her weeping silently.
Her eyes red, they did bleed.
All alone she was, engorged in agony,
Among shadows and broken dreams.
The air was still, and stale.
Her skin so pale, fragile like lace.
Her body trembling weak and frail.
Beneath her cloud of misery and dismay.
I saw her existence fading, her soul rapidly decaying.
Bound in misfortunes, awaiting imminent doom.
In the echoes of silence, the clock slowly ticks.
Putrid fumes began to fill the dark decrepit room
Deep in the heart of...

Keepsake
(work in progress...)
Again I have fallen victim to your poison,
Drinking in words twisted from previous lines.
Repeating the same fatal mistakes,
Truth well disguised within your devious design.
You watch as I consume your lies, without any haste.
A wicked smile smeared upon your deceitful face,
Aware of the torment in which you have me encased.
So I fall. Fall. Fall. Into this disgrace.
Down, down, down.
Cascading deeper within your façade.
Surrendering my heart, conscious tossed.
Give in, and give all,...
Again I have fallen victim to your poison,

DADDY
So long ago they took you from me,
I still remember that awful day perfectly.
I did not know yet, it’d be the day, that I would tell you goodbye.
Those words I never thought to you I’d speak so early in this short life.
In a river of blood, beside the gleam of the knife.
My world came crashing down, as your soul drifted from my life,
Paralyzed by feelings of despair and fear,
Tears flooded my eyes, pouring over me
The chaos of loss rang piercing my ears.

One Last Caress
Lift me…
You lift me up from the ground,
pull me up from the dirt, just to push me back down.
You smirk as I fall fast and drown.
Sinking into your sea of despair,
Gasping for breathes, a relief of air.
Again and again..
You have done it again.
Fooled me into trusting you like a friend.
Smothered me in your false truth.
Lies cascade and deprive me of youth.
Entangle me, as you weave your façade.
My soul you continue to maraud.
Lead me…
Again you lead me into the dark.
Stray from light, a landscape so stark....
You lift me up from the ground,
pull me up from the dirt, just to push me back down.

Corroded Soul
Corroded soul: 4-20-12
Once a vibrant gleaming light,
Pleasant and bursting with life.
Now has become the dark in the night,
Void of aspirations. Agony and sorrows are rife.
Each dawn of another day, brings forth more decay.
Dismal creation, quickly fading away.
Deteriorating from the inside and out,
Death shall come soon, without a doubt.
Piece by piece, becoming dissevered,
No one notices, and no one will remember.
Insignificant to all, left forgotten amongst the dust,
All that she touches, too will fade into nothingness.

Hello, Goodbye.
Take your time, Hurry up.
End it all, try your luck.
Proceed with caution, don’t give a fuck.
Life’s a game, which we all play.
Struggle constantly through each new day.
Pain and suffering, the price we pay.
Love is lost, all hopes do fade.
Strain until all breathes evade.
A shattered soul, remnants dissipate.
Think real hard, don’t think at all,
Climb on up. Back down you’ll fall.
A shot in the dark. Through a landscape so stark.
Drifting together, falling apart.
Agony a perfected art.
End it all, try your luck.

Palpations Subside.
My heart is a cage; Plagued with chains,
From which I cannot seek escape.
A fleshy tomb contains my soul,
Writhing in agony. Afflictions take their toll.
Left mutilated and unhealed.
Such fragile fragments, cannot be renewed.
Forsaken, forlorn, and abused,
Such wounds leave no point of restore.
Each beat counts down, in steady rhythm.
Until the day my frail heart beats no more...
From which I cannot seek escape.

Beneath The Stars
The stars above so far from my reach.
Dance in the night so peacefully.
Dreams of dancing up above,
Between the moon, Jupiter and mars.
Beaming pure in the encompassing noire.
If I could reach such heights I wouldn’t be so blue.
I took a leap into the stars aiming for the moon.
But down I fell into a darkness I’d never thought I'd know.
The words left me vacant, oh so long ago.
My soul to pieces has been torn.
Trapped in empty darkness forever more.
In the shadows of the dark, I fell beneath the stars.
The light I once held...

The Square Root of Agony.
First of all let me say...this is a rough draft, work is in progress..relative suggestions or comments are welcome.]
Two steps forward, and twelve steps back,
The seams have burst open, I begin to collapse.
All for nothing, nothing ever lasts.
Strive for something that cannot be achieved.
Where are you? Where have you been?
Alone I wander this treacherous never ending path.
You’ll never know unless you ask,
Lies cut deep to the bone.
Searching high, low, and far,
I am nowhere, where you are.
...
