Red Rose Pain
The light of day is a dagger that pierces the pallid moon as the ghostly white light seeps from the celestial socket that falls from hell
A stranded and shattered soul with a bullet ridden heart that beats no longer
that was never whole to begin with from years of torment like a flowing river of obsidian water
I ceased to take another breath and fell into an unconscious state of spiritual abyss
hands clinging to the last thing of beauty I possessed , my luscious red rose
my ethereal eyes closed to the darkness the world has descended...

Blessed by the Gods
Nothing greater felt, no more wondrous
glory in thy heart than laying brow to thee
upon rise of morning sun
returning life to faded soul
that once was commanded by Hades
mine rescuer of wounded heart
yearning to balance scale
I before was but a lingering shadow of former self
heart as cold as winters night
I've been entombed for centuries
roaming the lands in solitude
waging war within thy self
as though I was battling Aries himself
finding you warms thine eyes and rises thy spirit
and soul just as Apollo commands the sun ...

The Girl Behind the Mask
You can't see the cascade of endless tears concealed behind her mask of pain
You assume nothing is wrong
Inside her heart bleeds, leaving a crimson trail in her wake
She hides inside herself dying a little more each day
She relishes her time alone not having to hide behind lies
At night she tries to cry her pain to sleep with eyes shut tight seeing her inside self
she keeps her secret hidden behind the walls she built so high
wanting nothing more than to purge herself of this hell; but the pain is just buried to deep, she feels it to her very core
behind...

Behind Sad Eyes
Behind sad eyes lies memories of desolate yesteryears
and a blackened soul soaked with gloom standing in shadows
she stands abandoned and cries tears stained with blood
shackled and chained, my heart constrained ; bound to you
my mind lost in the obscure window panes of the past
you linger in my thoughts like falling rains to an uneasy earth
there is no now, I see no tomorrows in this inevitable loneliness
the thunder rolls as the storm rages on cloaked in shrouds of darkness
memories of you like a disease course through my veins
that has no cure ,...

Fragile Soul
I've had enough it feels as though the world is crumbling beneath
my feet, all around the crashing ground echoes my defeat
Misplaced and disgraced I have withered away a broken rose that never grows in soil of shattered glass, why this is no one knows
The light diminishes to darkness and like a bird with a broken wing
I've tried to fly countless times on my own but I tumble down
to the ground and cry tears of acid rain asking why oh why
have I withered away so I succumb to the pain that burns like fire inside of me, I lie barely breathing feeling my life...

Last Kiss
Her eyes were aglow,
like fire embers dying slow
Head held high she stood tall
with a graceful stance
She moved ever so swiftly mimicking
the dance of a beautiful waltz
Her target she spied,
helpless and serene,
but to her formidable
enemy she remained unseen
she unsheathed her sword
And before he knew it
he was on the ground
in this unfamiliar place
no warning came
not even a sound
A crooked smile
adorned her lips
and she gave her
enemy his last embrace
as the face of an angel
gave...

Crimson Red Lips
Consumed by thoughts of you; our love was like fire and slowly turned to ice
Reminders of you everywhere , it seems there is no escaping my memories
Imprisoned is my mind, remembering your touch your smell the way it felt in my arms
Mirrored by your shadow your silhouette follows me at times mimicking me
Steaming hot coals burn my hand as I reach out to touch you
Overwhelmed, I'm falling deeper into an ocean of disbelief, I'm drowning trying to escape this despair
Never did I think I would lose my sanity when you left me alone in the cold, fear...

Ashes of Time
Temperamental tears and devotional swears
Simple minded thoughts that I just didn’t care
Justified rights causing disruption in faith
Complication over mindset withdrawing to my fears
Calmed over nerves and a resolution to prayer
I was selfish, screaming to myself that it’s just not fair
So with frenzied piercing cries and cold founded tears now wiped away
I'm still left wondering why; so to the heavens I shout in need of a way out
Please Lord I admit that I've lost my way and now I pray
with eyes full of shameful tears I still ask thee why has my love...

Embers Glow
We swan dive into the volcano, burning
We creatures of night on fire
Mingled female and male
yearning for the heat
the sweet explosion of desire
Splashing from dreams, all consuming
I'm joyfully insane, my soul set ablaze
Passion's haze runs deep and fully blooms
Long after sweet warm flickers still remain
You make me sizzle with your kisses
And yet there is so much more
My heart is kindled, too it knows what bliss is
This closeness, never felt before
I belong to you
body...

mind...
and soul...
I'm peaceful and...
We creatures of night on fire

Twilight Dreams
You gave me courage to spread my wings and take flight...
but ever since you said goodbye; they have withered and I no longer fly
the stars have fallen from the sky, my world fell black
As a cold wind blows all around me, chills I feel to the bone
I'm standing here drowning in a sea of nothingness in a world where
only darkness abounds , alone with my fear; living a nightmare
Not even bothering to dry my eyes, it's pointless
as a never ending stream of tears will follow
my soul now hollow

Fallen Angel
She fell from the heavens down to this world
Grasping a broken harp
Beautiful white wings now darkest black
Music was a part of her…
Heaven not wanting her anymore
This silence is an endless dream,
Solitude made real in her,
Any trace of warmth in her soul now not there
This Fallen angel, who lost her grace
crying so desperately in the pouring rain
Will you love her under this familiar moon
Under the endless starry sky…
She yearns to fly…
But her broken wings chain her to this earth
Can you free her– with your love
Maybe then her...
