POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Lost.
In the night
Dark night
I am lost
Come find me now
I am tired
So tired
But sleep
Eludes me
In the dawn
Hopeful dawn
I am lost
Come save me now.
Dark night
I am lost
Come find me now
I am tired
So tired
But sleep
Eludes me
In the dawn
Hopeful dawn
I am lost
Come save me now.

Hollow.
I am a hollowed tree.
I once was beautiful,
prideful.
People benefitted from my existence.
Too many things taken,
I've been reduced to a hollow shell.
My leaves,
burned.
My core,
eaten away.
My branches,
ripped and torn.
I am alone with my hollow ways.
Never having any fulfillment,
there's no more joy.
No more sadness either.
I am alone,
Hollow.
To continue to just 'be'
without a purpose.
Without a downfall.
I am alone.
Hollow.
I once was beautiful,
prideful.
People benefitted from my existence.
Too many things taken,
I've been reduced to a hollow shell.
My leaves,
burned.
My core,
eaten away.
My branches,
ripped and torn.
I am alone with my hollow ways.
Never having any fulfillment,
there's no more joy.
No more sadness either.
I am alone,
Hollow.
To continue to just 'be'
without a purpose.
Without a downfall.
I am alone.
Hollow.

First kiss.
The stars come out at night
making beautiful lights in the sky.
I look at you,
smile.
Never seen such a beautiful sight.
Lost in the lights in your eyes;
stars all your own,
caught and magnified.
Lean in.
Breathe.
The scent of you intoxicating.
Your lips molded to mine,
I wish I never had to leave.
Breathe in.
Intoxicated.
Breathe out.
Missing it.
My face in your hands.
My arms around you,
holding you close.
Wish I never had to let go.
making beautiful lights in the sky.
I look at you,
smile.
Never seen such a beautiful sight.
Lost in the lights in your eyes;
stars all your own,
caught and magnified.
Lean in.
Breathe.
The scent of you intoxicating.

Recollections.
The house I walk through
isn't much of a house.
The windows are smashed,
leaving millions of glass crystals gleaming;
winking at me as i walk by.
The furniture that's left is old and moth bitten.
the colors faded to mere white.
The dust gathers.
The TV is gone,
stolen most likely,
and all that remains is a white square where the tv sat on the ground.
I walk up the stairs.
They groan in portest
not having to bear weight for how many untold years.
The last door is closed.
posters of childhood memories pasted all over.

Colors.
Once upon a time she lit up the sky
with brilliant colors and intricate designs.
With her life she
told an unimaginable story.
She kept you wondering,
filling your head with a memory.
Yet what you saw was all she had,
and all she had was beautiful.
with brilliant colors and intricate designs.
With her life she
told an unimaginable story.
She kept you wondering,
filling your head with a memory.
Yet what you saw was all she had,
