I'm angry and unfortunately this 'therapy'
does nothing more than break the chains restraining me
It's off to another world for me
without these secrets I'm bound to keep
Sneak into your garden and on a tomb I rest my feet
Awaken in the forest
the borders frame my mind
deep within the bethel
we feel the flow of time
The cities are all empty
spread throughout this land
mass graves dot the countryside
the bodies of tangled man
They fell victim to your lies
shipwrecked by the sirens cries

I feel you
More alcohol than water
more cigarettes than air
all the love she could give me
and still I had an affair
I suffer in silence
We both know I'll pay the price
but right now i'm loving every time you spend the night
You watch me kill myself
You know it makes me ill
quietly observing
you know this demon well
You've shouldered it your whole life
the burden and the urge
never understanding how people stress
aimlessly over words
Your quota of emotion somehow missed your name

Time feels meaningless
It's Saturday morning
barely 8:24 and all I can think about is more
soul nectar
bass water
This feeling I'm after has led me to this disaster
and whats more is that I can't remember anymore
I look at myself and try to climb back into my own body
but it's too late
Everyone of those little mistakes adds another lock to the gate
I manage to slip a foot in, through the eye up to my ankle
that's as far as it will go in though
I've turned myself into an obelisk for this
slowly and surely the...

Blonde hair and shining eyes
the delight in your sweet surprise
absent of all demonic ties
free from all those tired lies
I'd like to be there by your side
but baby please go run and hide
You text me, lay for a while next to me
and when we speak the color in your cheeks
is enough to sweep any man off his feet
But I feel broken
too damaged to be open
I don't want to leave this earth but
I know not my own self worth
I don't think our love could work
without one of us getting hurt.

dear in-laws
I can't afford to fix my ride
or put any gas inside
but it fills me with a sense of pride
that your daughter still climbs inside
and then we ride
all night
until we see that sunlight
our love feels so right
thank you for raising a her
not perfect but unique

It's been 20 hours since I last had a smoke
It's all i manage to keep that dragon out my throat.
Mary jane has made me lame
started off on another plane
a way to get past this pain
but I'm not the same and now i fear
it's empty space between my ears
like my brain has come to tears.
Spent $6 on food this week
but if you check under my seat
you'll find everything from green to mescaline
It's obscene
I don't mind though
Drugs and hugs make me feel fine
Hop on board I'll see you at the end of the line
