Rape
Take off your clothes
Or I’ll rip them off
You choose...
Like I was given a choice.
My consent wasn’t acknowledge
I didn’t matter to them now
My body did
He kept pushing it in
“Oh, hey guys, she’s a red”
Amidst this evil
They laughed.
"Stop!"
"Get off me!"
"Please!"
All these pleas and more fell on deaf ears.
You know that pouring water on a rock thing?
Yeah. This was it.
They raped me. In turns…
And it’s not my body alone
It was...
My mind. Shattered ...
Or I’ll rip them off

I want to get lost with you,
Go far into the woods
We'll follow the creek and maybe the sun
And we will keep going
Where they would never find us,
I will take the darkness
Accept the nihility
Face the fear
Deal with the demons,
You won't get tired, because I'll give you strength.
Promise me we will keep going
Till...
We build a world of our own
You said you would come...
Promise, Promise?.

Love, Despite.
I was lost before him, Pain was all I understood
Anger was my identity, hatred was a normal
I blamed my existence on him, despised the thought of him
But, he didn’t look at all that, he wanted me to be better
He took pain, accepted mockery and ridicule
He was still human, could have gotten cold feet
But he held on for me
I pushed him away, refused to let him in
He still kept coming back
I meant so much to him now
He couldn’t quit on me.
And then I saw him
Dragging all the way up that hill, in pains
He was spat on and tortured ...

Reset and Rebuild
There’s pain and it has become unbearable
Then you cry any chance you get,
Your words could barely make meaning,
Your breaks worse than it should
Those images would never stop flashing
Those voices really don’t know when to shut the fuck up
You start choking, can’t breathe
I can’t handle this
You think?
It’s fine to be scared
Hell yeah it’s okay to cry too
But keep those eyes with you,
You haven’t broken, you can’t break, it’s not you
This is it, There, Right now
RESET & REBUILD ...

How Long
Often I wonder which is harder
'Singleness or Marriage'
How do we do it?
The struggles of being with someone and remain purified sexually
The focus we must attain in this manner
The mindset of suppressing lust and passion
Remaining without touch till the set time
Our partners how they seemingly accept the challenge but later deviate;
With talks like ‘I am only human’.
How we look innocent but crave deep down for a tiny piece
The chain of celibacy a slavery we were made to follow
Or else anguish and chastising
I’m broken and torn ...

To nightfall am forever grateful
Sex can never define this
The shared passion, desires, connection
‘Those eyes’, how they get me
That beautiful smile with all its charm

Hold
For a bit I could no longer see the sky
It shifted a little
The wind blanking the darkness and I saw it
“my home”
The walls faded into dull only visible to the occupants
The warm, glow, I could never forget
Oh dear
That rope, I remember gripping tightly
It saved me and others,
Its so much hard to hold on but it kept me
My hope and dreams
Still intact..

Women,
We are more, so much more than we ever thought
Yes we were created help meet, but we marveled their expectations
Our strength is overwhelming
We bring things back to life
No efforts needs proving
There are evidences to our presence
Every day is another job for us no matter the age
Under pressure, duress, fear, shame, neglect, pain, Insults, Bad and Happy times
We listen, try to understand, support, show amazing care and availability
PLUS
We deliver outstandingly
We were born for this
To all my Girls, Aunts, Mum,...
We are more, so much more than we ever thought

Do you ever re –read your chats with someone just to try and relieve the joy that person brought to you #dang
That feeling,
The wide smiles, the flow of waves from your spine to your belly.
Aww butterflies,
You bite your lips giggling
The blushes in between
Those sweet tear drops, the emotions flaring
How your heart races when you get to a particular word
Then you start stitching those words into thoughts and dwelling in
The sudden wish to be with him
The way he looks at you
The thought of his lips touching yours
How happy it...
That feeling,

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Someone called me a ‘snub’, it hurt.
I tried to argue, I won too
But deep inside I know it’s true
I’ve tried to blend with the world and be sociable
I changed the form in which I made my hair, improved on clothes and shoes
But the more people I met the more disappointed I got
So I’ve learned to make it all about myself and a few good people I could actually rely on.
For a long time my past was my present and I still may not know myself
I see people die mentally every seconds even when looking social
I didn’t cause it but chose to be my own...

Stolen Childhood
Grow up girl you’ve got responsibilities
These are now anthems I hear often
But how?
Am still a kid, so innocent and pure
How do I cope with this new forcefully imposed me
I don’t want to be accountable for anyone
I don’t know how
I want the old days back
The nurturing I disregarded and saw as pestering
I want it
I want it back
I want it now
You can’t be asleep now it’s a school night
Help them get ready
I don’t want to hold the key
Neither do I want to choose or make suggestions
As they would want...
