POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
poetry makes me fucking pretty
Feed [the witch hunt]
They enter [muted]
the room drops silver chimes
announcing the black bride waltz
her blonde hair slashed short
teased into a bloody bouquet
of severed serpent heads
her charcoal eyes weep
into a skeleton hand obscuring her face
flamingo legs step stones in stilettoes
echoing the stabbing death of atmosphere
the bearded man in her wake
appears misplaced and unkempt
he pauses on the threshold
thinking if he should turn away
and melt into the [december] sun
but he has nowhere to go, now
it’s too late…...

The Fuss
It’s complicated
the decisions he employed
painfully, daily
not one to sit and deliberate
he measures predicaments in bare foot quandary
navigating the boundaries
outside the confines of office grim and associates
weaving the under bore
through a web of peepholes
between chaos and excrement
from a company that dealt it
because they couldn’t give it
he’s had to make some tough decisions, lately
walking with purpose
bound four corners of the block
bouncing off the kerb like some rogue juggernaut
rolling over on impact...

The Morning
I awoke
knowing you had passed
absence was clearer
than Spica in waxing night
the morning sun
did not shine upon your skin
the coldness
forever in touch
with hands and lips
the silence of your charm
echo but a distant gasp
from the hole in my heart
I found you dancing
amongst the coastal heath
where Rabbit Orchids sigh
I sensed you rousing
in the blood I sipped
from iron earth vines
you kissed radiant tears
in the calm ocean breeze
my shining
every day in...

Coastal Melaleuca
Wandering the tranquil coastline forest
a secret sanctuary, sheltered by dunes
isolated by freshwater billabongs, I gaze
into enchanting tangled blue reflections
suspended in black tannin backwaters
twisted roots snare limbs and torsos
of lost lovers that carelessly ventured
beyond the safety of the sandy shores
Melaleuca, humble tree of hidden truth
sweet fragrant leaves heal my wounds
paper bark peels from crooked trunks
versatile fabric to her keeper’s customs ...

Like A DOG
She is vengeance from remission
infecting me with her words
coursing through vessels
and convulsing nerves
polluting my mind
with her disease
she is intoxicating
anxious breath
drawn behind closed doors
rattling my demeanour
kissing the dragon
of my obsession
she disconnects me
severing my cord
discarding promises
like broken matchsticks
again I succumb to the haunting
unravelling spoils from her gift
powerless to the pendulum
I swing from every offering
and fuck...

Raw
I like it raw
high gloss overrun
with her saliva.
There’ll be nothing
lingering between us
except for a film of her lush
viscous
Gewurz-tram-in-er.
I observe
from beneath her flesh
poised
perfectly pointed jaw
mute gasp as she
slips
it
in
her mouth.
Delectable Sashimi slam-mer
tantalising Nori-ng headlock.
Whores d‘oeuvre Carpaccio
cures my bitter-salt vein.
Punching the raw carcass
breaking my bones
healing her butcher

Cut Her
Tortured image
beautiful pain
I agonise with acceptance of her
compulsion
to please her cutter
cutting her
cutting me.
Cradled
in the arms of her killer
a child eclipsed
tainted eyes
innocent witness of her lust for peril.
As Moses was bound to his people
the chosen one
to free the slaves…
If only I could cut her
free.

The Unleashing
A blob of ink.
I have marked this perfectly white sheet of paper
So now I must begin.
A single absent thought suspended in space
I cannot keep my eyes open and
I can't keep my mind focused on my feelings
They are too distant
Too s c a t t e r e d
I cannot translate my thoughts
I am thinking in another language and
I am beginning to slur
I start to fall asleep.

The Canonized Nightmares of a Life Once Too Gruesome to Bear
To whom that awaits in the shadows,
Goodnight.
I can no longer harbour your anger,
I do not wish to inflict your burden upon others.
There shall be no more horrors,
No more pain;
The madness must cease.
A great sleep awaits this wretched soul.
Wash away my demons in these tears,
Cast away like forgotten grains of sand,
Swept aloft and buried by the winds.
I do not want forgiveness,
I want peace.
Goodnight.
I can no longer harbour your anger,
I do not wish to inflict your burden upon others.
There shall be no more horrors,
No more pain;
The madness must cease.
A great sleep awaits this wretched soul.
Wash away my demons in these tears,
Cast away like forgotten grains of sand,
Swept aloft and buried by the winds.
