The Love Affair of Tad and Elizabeth-Days 6,7,8,9 and 10
DAY 6-THINKING AND PONDERING
Tad has an idea they could rent a room in a house for a few weeks, put a jinx on the motel circuit, get a little bourgeois.
He remembered a Vietnam vet who Tad had as a patient when Tad was a respiratory therapist at a VA hospital many many years ago,The vet said renting a room in someone's house was the cheapest and best way to avoid creditors and court summons. The vet himself had been dodging alimony and lawyers for dead-beat fathers. Then he enlisted and his problems were solved.

Living Goddesses
you meet one
in a store or on a plane
it makes no difference where it's at
you praise her smooth tapered legs
or her eyes impenetrably beautiful, like those of a cat
her too sweet smile might brush you off
but you protest you're a connoiseur
you meant every word of that
sometimes a word, a touch
can make a woman blush
it's then you know you've made your mark
and hope she'll hang with you for a merry lark
another woman might dazzle you with arcane wisdom
or take your breath away
as she beams a winning...

Preface
Like many people, I followed closely the alleged kidnapping of 15 -year-old Elizabeth Thomas by her former Tennessee teacher,Tad Cummins.I was wondering if it would take a tragic turn like many such abductions.
