walls
Ive spent so much time
Breaking down my walls
I've worked so hard
To try to be vulnerable
But now i've become a construction worker
Im picking up the pieces
And gluing up the fragments
Until im locked up
Completely surrounded by my walls
But this time
i'll make them indestructable
So next time
i wont be able to knock them down

learning to love me
I've learned to love
And find the beauty in it all
The good and the bad
The ugly and pretty
But i still havent learned to love me
I look past it in them
But never in me
On you, its not bad
But in myself its disgusting
And thats my biggest thing, i need to love me
To me, youre all gorgeous
To me, youre just fine
But me, theres just too many streatch mark lines
And i yes its crazy, i know its lame
But i'm going to learn exactly how to love me
And find the beauty in it all
The good and the bad

The lonliness sets in
And you begin to hate whats within
You try to fight
You kick and bite
But still your empty, lifeless skin
What is it that im lacking
I feel it, i know it. Im slacking
I want to
I need you
Or am i just overreacting
I know how i am, independent
I need me, myself and i, self reliant
But i still stand by
To give it a try
But thats not who i am...im defiant
I honestly want to be good
To be the way a young lady should
Yet i drink, and i swear
Im crazy,And you dont like what i wear...

sleepless night thoughts
I remember when
You were sick and you were sleeping
in my bed and i was lying on your chest staring
Up Into your face
Watching your face as you floated of to dream land
And i was so happy, and i was in love
You held me tight and i felt your heart beat
But now i hear the continuous echo
Of an empty room
Forgotten dreams
And a familiar ghost

The heat
This heat will get to you
Mess with your mind
Twist up your heart
You see the effects on the news
The crazies
The killers
The sociopathic mother
They gather here
They huddle together where they were born
Concieved in this heat
Sweating out misery
Tears of desperation
Tongue of hate And fiery page
What will happen when it gets cold?

Im not the prettiest
Im not the best ever
Im not the nicest
And im not so clever
Im a bitch
I'll be cocky forever
Im talkative
And you can do better
But you know i have your back
Im always there for you
Im not perfect
Theres fish in the sea, but its now missing two
Youre sarcastic
And youre so quiet
You go out to play tenniss
And if you want it you buy it
Yet you always have my back
And for some reason you choose me
You and i are not perfect
But maybe, we are meant to be

How do you help the one you love
Get over the loss of a loved one
How do you watch the rock that never breaks
Crumple and then crumble all together
How do i wipe away all the tears falling from his eyes
When each tear causes me pain
And im the one, the poet and writer
But i run out of words and mumble, i stutter
How can i show my love and comfort and soothe
When im lost and don't know what to do

We dont know whats there but we still pray

Build and break

You and i are haiti
Gorgeous (you has the most beautiful heart)
Great history (2010-present)
And overall a great place to be...
But we each have our own problems
Lets say im poverty and starvation (broke and hungry)
And you my love are its dictator (youre controling but still lovable)
We have issues but nothing ever comes from it
Until something tips either of us off
That's when the earthquake happens
An explosion, the ground shakes
And both of us are hurt...
But after the after shock
And everything's back to normal
You and me,...
