POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I like birds. I like cages. I like birds in and out of cages.
Stars
In the great pit of the green stomach
A thing of beauty, the man, not a thing of it
The thing, of it to the man
And in his hand was how he'd do it
Couldn't get through wanting to get through it
Just. . . couldn't do it.
And in the overflowing mirror of the river
His reflection did shake and quiver with blood
And there he disappeared
Never a good thing, only bullets hit his ears
Soft and sleeping sorrow is now of the sky, of the stars.

Wild, Not Wild
My hair is a jungle on fire.
A flaming curtain of such boldness I wish wasn't expected over such a dull as razors soul.
I know the flames have died long ago.
Broken porcelain ego.
In every word I give up, in every poem I die.
I miss the beginning of my earths evolution, a child as wild as the sun. A damp dark world has put out all of my fun.
