Little bird hops
On new baby grass
Whistling Quickly
The little bird laughs
He spreads his wings
And takes to the sky
Maybe someday
He will say goodbye
The raven screams
From up in the blue
Silly old raven
Everyone hears you
Falls in the North
To trees waving free
Little bird, Raven
Always be with me

DARK POEM

Mommy
I can't look at my pain
I can't keep it inside
I have made a new face
A new place to hide
She'll be all sparkly
All shiny and new
This new girl I've made
A better daughter for you
She may have my hair
My skin and my eyes
But I promise dear mother
She'll keep up the lies
She'll smile and wave
I'll be out of sight
My scars and my bruises
Won't see the light
We'll keep the facade
They won't see me break
Next year at my funeral
A grieving mother you'll fake
I can't keep it inside
I have made a new face
A new place to hide
She'll be all sparkly

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Torn
Laying alone on the floor
Storm cloud just outside my door
People begging me 'come out'
Tears are flowing silent now
Fighting still I try to move
Battle won but war to loss
Can't keep going still I try
To remember why I can not die
Death so welcome close and warm
Life so cold I am torn
Reaching for my bloody knife
My next cut could end my life
I hear their voices once again
'Please keep going my dear, my friend.'
Moving to the door in vain
Windows shatter voices scream
Floating along the cold dead shore...

Life
is just another word
people use to describe science and
God
is just another thing
mortals need so they can believe in
Love

Charity
is just another gift
society uses to feel
Joy
is just another dream
the world uses to reach for
Heaven
is just another wish
we all can live with
Time

In the middle of my war
Words said none can forget or remember
Hell in my head
Heat in my heart
Holes in my soul
He will forget me in the end
