POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Healing Addiction
In the quiet of night's embrace,
A silent struggle takes its place.
Where shadows dance with inner strife,
And pain becomes a way of life.
Each cut a whispered plea for peace,
A momentary, fleeting release.
Yet like a siren's haunting call,
The urge to harm holds strong, enthrall.
A battle fought within the mind,
Where solace seems impossible to find.
Each scar a mark of inner pain,
A testament to what's left to gain.
But just as night gives way to day,
There's hope to chase the dark away.
For though the path may...

Drowning in Shadows
The quiet of nighttime signals the flight of a spirit from earth, where grief predominates everything. Sometimes when people are in love they end up feeling unloved, shattered, torn, and alone. Grieving makes one drown in tears that once were laughter echoes. It fills hearts with unending fear until they choose to die and go join those who died before them.
Nonetheless, a silent call speaks at this moment; but it only lasts briefly just like hope within someone.
The whisper may seem so feeble against all this darkness but still it is there For even after love is lost it still...
