Writing and drawing is my therapy. I have always journaled by writing poetry and can only seem to do it that way, not forced. I don't want to force it anyway because I would hate to take away the enjoyment I get from creating it.

Guilty Conscience
i] Guilty conscience that’s eating you away.
Caused by decisions made in selfish disarray.
Explaining yourself before they even ask.
Piling lies upon lies to cover the last.
Call me your best friend, no better then the rest,
The competition of douche bags to see who is the best.
I though you were better than all that sensless shit.
You sure had me fooled I have to admit.
Swahili doesn't describe the bullshit that you speak.
Adding fuel to the fire to achive the outcome you seek.
Silencing you conscience by trying to believe
...

Mind Body and Soul
Make me feel safe,
Help me feel whole.
Make me feel loved,
Mind, body and soul.
Make me feel complete,
And help me to believe
The reflection in your eyes,
The beauty that you see.
Make me feel pretty
And help me realize,
That believing in these things
Is strength in disguise.
Make me feel special,
And hold on to me tight.
Please keep my heart from breaking
Even if it's just one more night.
Help me feel whole.
Make me feel loved,
Mind, body and soul.
Make me feel complete,
And help me to believe

Wash Away My Pain
Listening to you heart beat
Steady as the rain.
As the rise and fall of your breath
Washes away my pain.
Simple comforts in silence
I need nothing more.
To take away the constant worry
About what life may have in store.
Just take me in your arms
And never let me fall.
There I am safe, I can rest
Able to conquer all.

Separate ways
Were we ever really happy?
Was there always this much pain?
When did it start to fall apart?
And do you give me all the blame?
Can you see your part in this?
Or were you lead astray?
By my sickness that consumed you,
More and more each day.
We tried to hold it all together
For everybody’s sake
But that made worse it seems
It was more than we could take
You say you want it to go back
To the way it was before.
But I don’t think it works that way,
We’re not happy anymore.
There is too much that has changed,
We’ve gone...

Either Way I Lose
I lost myself today,
Got scared and ran away.
It’s so easy to run and hide
From the screaming in my mind.
Lost on what to do.
Where to go with who.
Dead inside I cannot see
The beauty others see in me.
It’s all too much to bare
I’m overwhelmed and scared.
Don’t want to feel, numb the pain
That’s quickly driving me insane.
The drugs silence the screams.
Turn my nightmares into dreams.
Only for a minute more
Then pain comes back full force.
I don’t know what to do/
Seems either way I lose.
Can’t face it all, so...

Sell Your Soul
Stuck out on a limb
You hung me out to dry
Twisting, Turning in the wind
Just trying to get by.
Giving me the blame
Churning out the lies
Point the finger, can’t you see
You’re just as dead inside.
Crying out for help
I see you scream in pain
Underhanded you lash out
Seems it’s all in vain.
Trying to not react
I refuse to give it strength
The monster rears its ugly head
Black heart exposed beneath.
Trying to cut my ties
So I’m alone like you
It’s not my fault you’re in that place
You could have left it too....
You hung me out to dry

Beyond Human Aid
God please tell me what to do
Show me the right choice
I’m lost and lonely, running scared
And I can’t hear your voice.
I pray each day for guidance
And say “Thy will be done”
I’m trying to wait with patience
For the answers I seek to come.
But so far I can’t hear them
The screaming drowns it out
The devils whispering in my ear
And he’s using all his clout.
He keeps telling me its okay ...

Feelings
I'm starting to remember
What it's like to feel
The fog is slowly lifting
Life's starting to seem real
The colors are more vivid
I'm beginning to stir inside
I'm scared it will overwhelm me
I want to run and hide
This is what I run from
Each and every day
Pumping in more drugs
To hold it all at bay
But now I find myself smiling
And I'm feeling so much hope
I forget what I was scared of
When I used drugs to cope
