Poet Introduction
I am reasonably new to poetry, in that I have only really been writing for about six months, but much of my work has affected those I have read it to. Normally I write about various issues floating around in my head.

Bones (I don't remember)
I don't remember how my bones used to show
Through my porcelain skin.
How my lips would turn blue despite
Summer sunshine outside.
Freaking out over a change in my rigid routine,
Sleepless nights and haunting dreams.
I don't remember hipbones cutting through
My skinny size six jeans.
I don't remember the feel of my spine,
The rough ridges of my vertebrae fragile against bony fingers.
I don't remember balancing a coin in my too pronounced collarbone.
I don't remember my mother's horrified face as
I stepped on scales only tipping six stone...
