Wondeful Days
Trees rustling
Bikes ringing
Kids playing
A day worth watching
The neighbours mowing
And I’m sat here
Under the shadows
Of a magnificent palace
Of a million memories
But this memory
Outside of my palace
I’ll treasure the most
Out in this yard
A wonderful place
Managed with passion
Trimmed to perfection
Flowers reaching the sky
Colourful beds
Deserving admiration
As in this weather
Oh so beautiful
They feast on sunlight
Blossom
Into a magnificent rainbow
Filled with delight
God I could sit here...

Beyond a Lifetime of Wonder
They say the sky is the limit, but that’s not as far,
As I flew across the universe, and saw all the stars,
From galaxies and black holes to the bright supernovas,
And asteroids and comets with a red cape on my shoulders,
That’s right, I went far into space,
What you know of is merely the surface,
Of a dark blanket which everything lies under,
Hidden within its own brilliance, excellence and wonder,
I saw it all, I stared existence in the eye,
Never concealed from me, nothing left to hide,
I stood in complete darkness, I stood in immense light,

Butterflies
Sweaty palms
Better dry my hands quick
She won’t like them
I gotta make a good impression
I’m getting nervous
My heart is drumming
I’m wondering what to wear
And what she’ll wear?
Hopefully a dress
But then again
What if she does
And I’m in my jeans?
I’ll be a scruff next to this queen
Hopefully she’ll be in them too
But is that what I want?
It’s like she didn’t even try
To impress me or look good
A dress it is
And I’ll wear my favourite top
God this is nerve wracking
How will I spend the next few hours

A Tragic Aftermath
In this torturing night I gather the scraps of hope
Rearrange the pieces trying to fix an impossible jigsaw
It’s endless
No matter how much I try
These pieces will never fit together
I feel as if all hell has broken loose as grief consumes me
I cannot believe this
What took years to build has been torn in seconds
My masterpiece is ruined and I’m stood here
With this shattered mirror looking at a sight which disgusts me
I cannot take this any longer
I’m wondering whether it was worth it
Losing myself in the hands of another
My body stranded...

Seeing is Believing?
I’ve been told seeing is believing
So how can I believe it is air that I am breathing?
How can I believe that it is love I am feeling?
Or that my life is controlled by a greater being?
Maybe we need to sit down
Take a deep breath in air that we don’t believe in
Ponder on our non existent thoughts
Wonder on our imaginary faith
Is it safe to think that my life is in my hands?
Or that a greater being exists holding the strings of this puppet
But I don’t see any strings
So my life is in my hands
But what if those strings were tied around my hands...
So how can I believe it is air that I am breathing?

Sadness Within
Suppose I suppress this sadness within
Steadily succumb to a stop where I send for a saviour
Because I’m stuck in this pit where I’ll sit
And search myself because I seem
To find no happiness in this emptiness
Just filled with blackness
I’m a mess is it a test?
This isn’t just it must be a bust
Because I’m too busy seeking for bliss
But I’m far away so I’ll sit and slit my wrist
While seeing inside me besides me
There’s nothing so I’ll just subside and reside
In this hollowness where I’ll slowly settle

Last Night
My release
Take me out of this world
You infect my mind
With a lovable poison
And I’m addicted to you
Addicted to your rhythm
Addicted to your tempo
My heart beats to your beat
I lose myself
Because you are my escape
I am free
My eyes hazy
My ears deafened
But I love it
It’s crazy to think
I relish this madness
In this trance
I am just a slave
Blood rushing to my head
Adrenaline
Breathless
Drenched in sweat
With this music blaring
And these lights shining
All I know
Is that I’ll be back next...
Take me out of this world

Eyes burning
Filled with hatred
Blood I’m yearning
I need space
Why?
I’m about to blow
Take all that’s near me
Friend or foe
I don’t care anymore
Had enough of this world

By one fucking girl
She ran away
Left me alone
Best she did
Coz I could crush her bones
Slit her neck
Stab her chest
Tearing her apart
Just the beginning of this quest
I’ll take her on a journey

This morning I walked out hoping to
Feel the touch of the fresh air
Hear the voices of beautiful birds
Smell the fragrance of flowers
See the glorious sunrise
Greet the swaying trees
Stand in green fields
Touch green grass
Breathe in a gentle breeze
Love the nature around me
Instead…
This morning I walked out to
Feel the touch of smoke
Hear the voices of doors slamming
Smell murderous petroleum
Greet the abysmal morning traffic
Stand on grey concrete
Touch the horror around me
Breathe in...

An Awful Truth
Our future seems foggy
It’s definitely not clear
What will happen to us I don’t know
It seems we’ve hit a dead end
How sure are you that you’ll wake up in the morning
With no jolt of sadness and loss?
How sure are you that the shadows of what could be a painful night
Won’t cause a morning of mourning?
Or how sure are you that you’ll wake up at all?
We all forget
Whilst we’re dying to live
That we’re just living to die
Because death is the only thing you
Can definitely expect in your life
And whilst you waste your life with...

It seems this clock has stopped ticking

Every second drags
