Putting Thoughts into Context
I’m thinking of what to think
I don’t know what to think
So I’m here thinking
Of what to think
Should I think of what I already thought?
Or should I just think some new thoughts?
I thought thinking was an easy matter
But obviously, thinking needs a lot of thought
Put into behind all the thinking

The Beginning of the End?
With the smoke rising and hearts burning
Behind this haze we see more rubble
A petrol bomb shoots across the heavens
Like a cannon…
A thud of footsteps reaches my ears
Closer, closer, it’s coming closer…
A mass of black attire dives across the street
Bikes dragged in a battlefield
Formed by this social division
A fire burning in their eyes
And the windows give way
The building lights up in flames
Flames of an unleashed greed
The howls of wolves travels
Down Market Street
A man jumps out
Seconds have saved him
From a...

If only life were a piece of cake....
In my hands I hold
Two slices of cake
One for me one for you
One big one small…
Childishly, I look at them
Longingly
Delicate icing; soft cream; luscious jam…
Then I look at you
A warm smile; a tear in your eye
You know our friendship will win
Our love will be the stronger
I will do the right thing
I look down at the slices
Should I give you the bigger or smaller…
A moment to contemplate…
A minute to consider…
The clock ticks…

An Autumn Death
I’m shaken
What can I do?!
A seed planted in my ribs
It has grown and nourished
You are why it has blossomed
You took care of it all the time
It was you who had nurtured it
You who gave it the warmth it needed
Your presence was light which it fed from
It grew and grew
With every date it would grow
It spread through every artery and tissue
This was my support
Rooted at my heart it stemmed into my blood
It grew from you and it lived for you
And after taking over my body I lived for you
The beautiful flowers within me are yours
...
What can I do?!

I Really Don't Know...
Aspiring to amaze it’s awful our angels
Behind their beauty behold the betrayal
Clueless I crave to claw to the core
Dig deep inside drive to open this door
Everything is my enemy every entity exceeded
Forced to be a fool and from this fuel they feeded
Given grief I’m like a ghost at the gallows
Hoping for help I’m hailed to hide in this hollow
Irregular it is I’m feeling ill like I’m in ice
Jesting at my journey joyful in their spite
Killed by these kidnappers who hold the key
Let me go I’m locked up I need my liberty
Meandering in this maze...

Empty Skies?
There’s something about the night sky
That makes me wonder why
It’s pitch black, nothing meets the eye
Wonder why the stars have gone off to hide
Then I look down and I realise
In this concrete jungle where we all lie
Making our comfort yeah we have tried
But in this concrete jungle where we all lie
Tall long pillars filled with a burst of light
Have taken over and caused our stars to hide
The terror we’re causing leaves me with a sigh
We’re destined for destruction even if we try
We’re preparing for a drop after this mighty high...
That makes me wonder why

If the Trees had Voices They'd Scream
If the world had eyes it would see
A plague upon its land and its seas
This planet has been taken over
About to burst like a supernova
By insects crawling around here
Causing havoc not holding it dear
Spreading across like a dreaded plague
Unknown purpose it’s all vague
Melting the world with their mess
Scraping the resources now there’s less
Heating the place up like a pressure cooker
Mother N screaming they’ve gone and fucked her

Would You?
Would you ever meet eye to eye with the oncoming storm and hail?
Know that you’ll never give up what you stand up for?
Or will you turn the other direction and set sail
Leave everything behind and run off I bail
Stranded on an island wondering how you failed
Leaving behind footsteps for other cowards to trail
Would you speak out your heart or be of no avail?
Join the witch hunt of lies and hide behind a veil
Deceit and falsehood put your soul up for sale
Stab yourself and keep bleeding ‘til you go pale
Forget dying like a hero and live to tell...

The Gayness of Poetry
Awful rhythms and crappy rhymes
Annoying beats always in time
More painful to listen than Sunday’s chime
Poets use big words of something sublime
If you ask me, they all need a kick in the behind
Always being dumped, and oh how they cried
How they’re apparently going to the dark side
On about this pebble, and the beauty of this tide
These bullshit topics, must take hours to decide
Cooped up in their bedrooms, where they reside
Complayning of speling, as if it all matters
When it’s just letters on a page all scattered
It doesn’t make...

Words to break her heart
Leave from the tip of my tongue
Never to return
Painfully wounded
I have torn her to pieces
With all of my lies
An end has been reached

Given Up
My sense of self slowly eradicates
I feel the air within me quickly freeze
I’m howling into a wind that brings
Silent whispers to land me on my knees
Inside an isolated world contained
Where I cannot find warmth and heat
I’m being swallowed by emptiness
Which throws me off my feet
I’ve painted myself a canvas of horror
Throwing daggers at me with each look
My skin is fatigued from all the breaks
This pain has my body feeling shook
I’ve had enough I’ve given up
This game takes my will and defeats
