I hear it loud and clear
I want that too
I want to move on
I want to get past this
Words tripping me up
My words
Some poet am I
Fuck this shit
Love is dangerous
It slowly kills you inside
Love is powerful
It makes you warm inside
Pushing him away with my words
Please just stop
I hear it
Why can't I just be me
I'm happy
I'm flirtacious
I'm lost
I'm alone
Please just stop
You'll have nothing in the end
No love
Just anger for you
I want that too

A Lesson
She sat and watched him sharing herself like ne'er before
She lay beside him on a green and kissed him gently like ne'er before
In an orange dress and black heels she felt like ne'er before
They sipped drinks while watched from afar
New lovers
They explored for the first time like ne'er before
Leaving his mark on stone then shared a taxi ride like ne'er before
Through turmoil of the past he was by her side
She watched him grow with great pride
Tentative steps discovering desires like ne'er before
Overlooked by Mr O'Higgins it often rained...

I stood against the door
Exploring myself in my naked confidence

Never Ending Tears
A tightness in my chest
Unable to catch my breath
Waiting to know the truth
Sorrowful words won't cease
Where am I
Where is the me you know
I want to smile and laugh
I want to continue to grow
A chapter has closed
A new page turns
Will I come back from the dead
I hear you I really do
An exchange of words that hurt
Soft sensual words that should ease pain
I hold my breath

My Sanctuary
Not angry just sad
It wasn't even bad
Lost years of which I have no control
My words will alter
The light diminishes for now
Holding out for one more touch
Not wanting to be impecunious

The Diminished Rose
Petals withered deep rose red
Inside within a death
Young fresh daisies bloom
Leaving no room
Old and not so wise
Moisture cascades from her eyes
No longer a rose in full bloom
But pressed flat amid leaves of a book
Petals to turn too
In moments of need
Now just a memory
Her heart bleeds yet no open wound
Her thorns no longer
Her dew dried up
Once that daisy full of life
That was a score ago
Grieving for love
No longer in her grasp
Just done
Tomorrow starts a new hurt ...

Latte!
Lonely but not alone
Sad but not filled with sadness
He lies asleep not in pain
I watch unable to help
She's not here but she is
The hours slowly pass
No death yet it aches within
Comfort from afar
Angels in blue
His saviour
Mine too
Wishing it was over
Positive thinking keeping me in check
His arms around me keep me sane

Sated and content
I am now once again his focus
No urgency in his motion
Capturing me in this moment
Fingers trace folds
His attentiveness on my bud is empowering
I writhe in suppressed need
Floundering within his concentration
Tranquility, then a sustained rapture
His words encourage me, his kiss excites me
The rapture evolves, molding into one
Time and patience rewarding us both.
I am now once again his focus

We watch naked
Mirrors surrounding us
Concentration on the moment
