Broke the promise,
to the promise you promised.
I thought you were honest.
So close, now nothing in common.
Dearly departed, left broken hearted.
Heartless scarlet, incarnate a goddess.
Body's flawless, shoulda been more cautious.
Unguarded my heart, left ripped apart.

Body tingling to touch
inching down to the naval

I cant wait for the day we become official,

Thought I had strength in mind, body, and soul. Said I could never be bent, or even break anymore.
Through all the shot that I saw, thought I been through it all. rose from the bottom to the top, only to topple and fall. Now to top it all off, wife and kids packed up and gone.

At and empty church,
i sing my confessions.
no one is around to hear,

Surprised by my age
at 32 you know wise
with wisdom, there comes pain
still, I’m pouring out liquor for those slain
Turn your backs on those who did wrong
slamming doors in they face it ain’t right
even grown men are lost without love
doesn’t matter what he does or has done
Take a second pay attention maybe you’ll see the pain in your son
ask him questions “how’s your day” it could be as small as a quick hug
We ain’t born this way to become a monster we’re made
Like a child that’s taught hate, why push us away

PAIN
What is pain?
pain is what you feel when you fall,
bump a knee and start to bleed.
Pain is something everyone has to feel.
you wont know the true meaning of happiness without feeling the aches of the greatest pains, again and again.
Pain causes us to stumble.
If we are patient and observant.
we are able to catch ourselves,
and really wont hurt at all!
It is what causes my blood to race,
my heartbeats faster,
breathing comes to a weez,
sweat sits on my skin,
as it starts to bead.
blood pressure is at an abnormal...

dont worry bout that play,
forget about that last down.
it's in the past, don't get stuck in the past,
the past is passed now.
keep moving forward, I promise you.
you won't ever show fear,
your never gon back down.
don't question for a second that you'll give up,
you're going to die giving your last now.
won't stop until you hear the sound of the bell,
that spells the end of the last rounded.
in deep thought, as I'm telling myself,
I'm going to fight.
give it all I got, my last shot make it count.

The times changed, o have times changed.
From fire hydrant pools playing stick ball behind the school. O have times changed.
Outside having a ball 'til street lights came on. Banana seats cards in the spokes. Blind to the hustlers gangs going to war.

Summer fun snow cone man slowly coming along. (We were too poor for the icecream truck) innocent until our innocence was lost. O have times changed.
Middle school came around, gangs checking whos down. Second week of school I had a flag in my Jean's proud to be a king. O have times...

Taught dinosaurs are prehistoric
how their meaning on earth is storied.
but how are they prehistoric?
when I step out the door
at seven in the morning,
i'm walking with long necks
avoiding those snake eyes.
meterorites light the night,
birds hover their prey,
habitual inhabitants
roaming free in my habitat.
considered rapacious?
I question those facts.
how can they be vicious?
when I see these predators pray.
they leave, never come back or seen.
assume there’s a time,
predators become prey.
