Hollow Minds
Stuck in this place of heavy air and hollow trees
Waiting for time to shatter broken knees
We watch and spectate from the back of our minds
Hoping howls and screams will save us from our binds.
Do you hear the voice, in the back of your head
Scratching and crawling, holding on by a Shred
It wants have you, consume you whole
Beat you down, eat your soul
One more for his army, the rotten few
All ready with hate, for life they imbue

I Kinda Still Wish
I remember before, but I can't go back
I didn't feel, and I miss the lilac
My heart was bursting, if only I knew
It'd burst from my chest, and kill this too
Now all that remains, in this crevice so deep
Is the love that I gave, but never received

Awake
I had a dream about you, you wouldn't believe how big he was.
You just got done walking him to school.
I met you outside your house, your hair was a mess, and you were wearing that dress I like.
You gave me that look, the one I used to get when I saw you every morning.
I wanted to say something, but I also just wanted to savor the moment.
Then I woke up, I wanted to go back, look at your face, live in that moment just a while longer.
You would believe how perfect it felt, how happy I was.
But even in my dreams I know that I should let you go.
You just got done walking him to school.

Having a day to spend with you is everything
Absence of you is something I don't want to know
You make feel like the luckiest guy in the world
Leaving is unbearable, and unthinkable

Should I try to be her friend
Maybe stuck until the end
Try to leave now but its to late

Here After
The worms ate into his brain
He fell to the floor in the slow gentle rain
Knowing he lost the battle he retreated home
Those bitches have ruined everything and taken all
The day lingered on after that as he walked through the field of bloody corpses
The place in which many sacrificed their dreams before
and with the blade upon his wrist he took one deep breath and thought if I survive then just as empty as everyone else
But whats worse, dead and gone or the here after...

These shoes I wear slow me down
Down to the point in which I drown
I've had them now for way too long
I'd like to pitch them but I feel that's wrong
They've always been there for me in case

My body trembles to think what you might say

Way up in the sky
with no real realization
of what life really is
Death is an everyday event
yet I’m so numb
numb to the fact that life's fragile
this realization has knocked me down
