A Lover to Be
A love that will be
'till the tides of the sea
rise, overcoming me.
Even then a love
that forever be
will be no more.
Without the Lover,
Without the Sea.
And so, I take my leave,
to be alone,
free, from the sea.
But I will never be free
from the tides, from the sea.
A prisoner, forever be.
I end my life,
again and again.
My only folly,
is where it all began.
'till the tides of the sea
rise, overcoming me.
Even then a love
that forever be
will be no more.
Without the Lover,
Without the Sea.
And so, I take my leave,
to be alone,
free, from the sea.
But I will never be free
from the tides, from the sea.
A prisoner, forever be.
I end my life,
again and again.
My only folly,
is where it all began.

March on
Hear their step?
The young march
to the beat
of broken hearts.
Through the day,
and the night,
all their life.
But it was never
their fight.
Yet they go on
not for God,
not for Glory,
only for fear,
of their own
wicked country.
But the day
will come,
when the young
have learned
there's no need
to fight,
because everyone
gets burned.
The young march
to the beat
of broken hearts.
Through the day,
and the night,
all their life.
But it was never
their fight.
Yet they go on
not for God,
not for Glory,
only for fear,
of their own
wicked country.
But the day
will come,
when the young
have learned
there's no need
to fight,
because everyone
gets burned.

The Show
The days go by
and everyone follows,
along for the ride.
But not I.
I stand still
watching it all,
alone, atop my hill.
The ride goes around
and around again
it will never stop
until they're all dead.
And from my hill
I'll watch the ride that kills,
the ride that goes 'round
A one-way ticket to hell.
I see them die,
all the passengers
the last being none other
than I.
But, in the corner of my eye
a hilltop stands,
and so I go,
watched as I die.
and everyone follows,
along for the ride.
But not I.
I stand still
watching it all,
alone, atop my hill.
The ride goes around
and around again
it will never stop
until they're all dead.
And from my hill
I'll watch the ride that kills,
the ride that goes 'round
A one-way ticket to hell.
I see them die,
all the passengers
the last being none other
than I.
But, in the corner of my eye
a hilltop stands,
and so I go,
watched as I die.

A Sunny Life
Find yourself inside a flower
you hear your song
The wind whistles through the pedals
you hum along.
Let the sunlight fall on you
it turns you on
The song is known to so few
your life goes on.
See the sun fade to none
you sing your song
hear the wind but now it's gone
you hum along.
But you can never see
never hear, you're wrong.
Just let it go, forget the song
and come along...
Find yourself up in the sky
you're up so high
next to the sun
Falling slowly
through the clouds,
you're...
you hear your song
The wind whistles through the pedals
you hum along.
Let the sunlight fall on you
it turns you on
The song is known to so few
your life goes on.
See the sun fade to none
you sing your song
hear the wind but now it's gone
you hum along.
But you can never see
never hear, you're wrong.
Just let it go, forget the song
and come along...
Find yourself up in the sky
you're up so high
next to the sun
Falling slowly
through the clouds,
you're...

Love in the Dark
Left in the dark,
left to cry,
left to die
alone in the dark.
I loved you then,
but you were never my friend
you left me alone
to cry
to die
in the dark.
The band plays
to see me off
as I fade away
into the dark
a hole, you made of my heart.
You're left alone
as the band plays on
crying, dying,
left to fade into the dark,
into the hole you made
of your own heart.
left to cry,
left to die
alone in the dark.
I loved you then,
but you were never my friend
you left me alone
to cry
to die
in the dark.
The band plays
to see me off
as I fade away
into the dark
a hole, you made of my heart.
You're left alone
as the band plays on
crying, dying,
left to fade into the dark,
into the hole you made
of your own heart.

Goodbye my Love
I see you now
in the sun
with clear blue skies.
I love you so
it hurts to say
Goodbye.
But you know you're never alone
oh please, please
don't cry.
My love for you
will never die.
But we cannot be.
So please, leave me be
so I might die
and escape this lie.
in the sun
with clear blue skies.
I love you so
it hurts to say
Goodbye.
But you know you're never alone
oh please, please
don't cry.
My love for you
will never die.
But we cannot be.
So please, leave me be
so I might die
and escape this lie.

My Home
The bathroom was home
the sink was my throne
back when I used to cry.
All the kids were in the halls
when I hid in the stalls
back when I used to cry
My life was a dream
or more a nightmare it seemed
for such a long time.
My eyes were never dry
and I was so blind
Back when I used to cry.
All my songs were so sad
and all the dreams I had
were covered in blood.
And still to this day
I'd never trade it away
all the tears that I shed.
And down inside I knew
I had died.
Oh Thank God...
the sink was my throne
back when I used to cry.
All the kids were in the halls
when I hid in the stalls
back when I used to cry
My life was a dream
or more a nightmare it seemed
for such a long time.
My eyes were never dry
and I was so blind
Back when I used to cry.
All my songs were so sad
and all the dreams I had
were covered in blood.
And still to this day
I'd never trade it away
all the tears that I shed.
And down inside I knew
I had died.
Oh Thank God...

A man and his Shadow
As the rain patters the sill
The Deathly Raven is perched
Silent and still.
Inside a shadow
Sways on the floor,
The Shadow of a man
No more.
Stripped of himself
Of his mind, of his core
The man of the Shadow,
A man
No more.
The Deathly Raven is perched
Silent and still.
Inside a shadow
Sways on the floor,
The Shadow of a man
No more.
Stripped of himself
Of his mind, of his core
The man of the Shadow,
A man
No more.
