Sometimes, when something in me breaks, deep within
wounds cracking, resonating memories of despair
Sometimes, when I hear an inner whisper, sinister and mean
consuming darkness, life's long path to nowhere
Sometimes, then, an almost serene surrender, just wants to give in
why even bother
No matter how hard I'll try, and ache, suffer, and fight!
I will not recover
Lost in the screaming void, forever astray from the light
Sometimes, something deep breaks, kept hidden within
I become my morbid whisper, a facade of inner piece becomes a genuine...

Somewhere in the labyrinth of my heart there's a door labelled with your name
It seals a small abandoned room, dedicated to you
It doesn't get visited often, gathering dust, forgotten
Cold and darkness plague within it's inner walls
Memories and broken promises are drifting the room aimlessly
Hopeful one day you'll join me to stare at them cozily, lulling myself to sleep

At a lifeless existence,
any ray of light shines oh ever so brighter
In a prison sealed by time,
every moment to cherish is a moment to hold on to,
A moment to breath in
However empty and painful it gets
I find comfort in gazing at her beauty
Blinded by her sunlight to be falling asleep.
