too far gone
lost my way

DARK POEM

Dementico
Dementico was flames in snow
He lived down town near Pimlico
Where every night in clubs below
He watched the strange and ancient show
Of flux and fucks and fights and flow
And dawn's the time at which he'd go
And so one night Dementico
Got dressed up tight from head to toe
To hunt within the Club Limbo
For news of stunts both fast and slow
And he strode limb-wise akimbo
Not caring should he stop or go
...
These verses end at this blunt point
Dementico destroyed the joint
Because my rhyming hurt him so
He does not...

Rush
You woke me quick, now life's outstanding
Everything I see's astounding
Hearts keeps pounding, mind's exciting
All my inner selves ceased fighting
Eardrums pop, silence is rapture
Demons of the dark stopped biting
Move so fast, my words must capture
This, so scrawl them as I'm pacing
Chase them round as they keep racing
Infinity-eternity is facing
Me - space-time's gone boundless
Don't stop now the air is soundless
Bodies melting, bursting, falling
Mind is flux and nothing's stalling
Coming down - it sucks - appalling!
Start again,...

Twelve
By the 12th step of recovery
My true life came to this:
Twelve friends betrayed me
Eleven homes had stayed me
Ten drugs filled spaces
Nine masks made faces
Eight fighters threw me
Seven lovers knew me
Six head-sick siblings
…Five Secret Things…
Four punished crimes
Three degrees
Two mind grenades
And a-part-soul in a body
My true life came to this:

Electric Dawn Revelation
Marauding in this awe-sparkled whirl
Yellowing kings of truth exploding in mad-mouthed battle
The absurd winds of semantics roar incredibly in my ears
Cooing and echoing
Raping my erogenous mind.
Still grabbing orgasmic gasps on burning air
I don't believe in anything and sigh at blank notions
Of history, society and the legendary future -
Blood-splattered steaming flowers screech 'Right Here Now'
In my world of shattered electric dawn
Screaming wildly at scattered phantasmagoria.
Yet whose tense Atlantis is this?
Was it discovered or...

Hyperzone
Been wondering, meandering
in darkest space, been floundering
like crumbling rock in feckless flight,
tumbling through this timeless night;
my heart of gold has turned to stone:
sold out my soul in Hyperzone.
Seen all I need, don't need no more,
fists crashing through another door
and smashing your cold shield like glass
for letting this hell come to pass;
broken hearts turn into stone:
feelings freeze in Hyperzone.
Been dreaming epic tales of how
we sailed those stormy seas, and sought
forgotten trails into the past,

Hiding in the Moment
Just realized why I never look too far ahead
Why the future seems a dark place in my mind
It’s because if I look ahead I will see that what I only fear now
Is actually waiting for me like a predator set to pounce
And that’s not another weight I would like to carry round with me just yet
So I’m hiding in the moment, like a sailor lost at sea

Visor
Without warning daytime crashes
Taste in mouth turns into ashes
Android smiles belch out sweet words
Like sugar-coated verbal turds
Which pulse and swell to fill the room
Electric blue beneath full moon
Where I'm found wearing some disguise
Or staring madly through this visor
Fitted lest my laser gaze
Should set their hellish world ablaze
Revealing loveless reptile creatures
Lurking under human features.
A violent voice ignites the air
A phoenix risen from despair
Returning with demonic power
To haunt you in your darkest hour...
Taste in mouth turns into ashes

De-Generate
Activate, de-activate
A plastic pact in warps of fate,
Take action while they bite the bait:
Violate the ultimate -
Annihilate and devastate.
Deconstruct, construct from scratch,
Decode, deduce, debunk and match
The patchwork with my jigsaw face:
Transform the pact, transcend your fate -
Burn to dust, disintegrate.
Mystify, demystify,
Defy the black sun's rising cry;
Devoured by power you state your crime:
To shun the beat and crown the rhyme -
To drown the cosmic pulse in the chatter of mind.
Generate, de-generate,...
