Lights from beneath our skin.
Flashing to the rhythms in our heads.
They dance to the feeling in our minds.
Energized by the intoxication of adrenaline.
Coursing through their bodies.

Let's dance through the meadows in our minds.

As a teen, I am expected to have fun
To live happily
To go to school
To get good grades
To get a job
To find a boy
To kiss and love
To fall so hard
To give myself
