POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I am a self-proclaimed gothic artist and author (mostly poetry). I'm not sure how I would describe my poetry, so I guess I'll leave that up to the reader. I know that most of them are fueled by depression, anger, and love (or rather, obsession).
That Day
The salt of my tears choking my breath.
The bolt of my fears according to death.
The flash of our lives before my eyes.
The dash of cutting knives pushing at my ties.
The clash of thunder as I scream to the skies.
It all results to pain in the end,
and all we need is a friend...
Feelings of some indifference worsen a mind bend.
Differentiating what emotions our mind will send.
Pretending to go places we've never been.
Mirroring others with a chelsey's grin.
No matter how hard we try,
or how high we fly -...
The bolt of my fears according to death.
The flash of our lives before my eyes.
The dash of cutting knives pushing at my ties.

Lonely
I sit alone in my mind,
in this dark hole,
Stuck in these shadows, I bind -
my heart and my soul.
These tendrils of darkness -
grow ever so cold.
Will I ever find happiness?
What about the soul I've sold?
Will it ever break free -
and find it's way back to me?
Oh Goddess!
I grow sick of my loneliness!
Can anyone hear me?
Can they hear my plea?
Why is it I am so lonely?
Even when I am not alone,
my emotions harden like a stone.

The Ugly
It lives in the city,
Dreaming it was pretty;
Constant sleepless nights,
And endless mental fights;
At night we hear the screams,
Bellowing from monstorous dreams;
Red eyes,
Commanding bleeding skies,
No matter how hard it tries,
No matter how high it Flies,
The Ugly cannot find the pretty...
The pretty does not live in the city,
It lives in the meadows,
Feeding off the shadows,
It is pure as evil,
As sure as the devil.
The Ugly truth-
and the beautiful lie...
Life.

Into the Eyes of the Decieved
Of all negative impressions recieved,
All the lies that were believed,
And all the lingering pains unrelieved.
Look into the eyes of the decieved.
Praise the gods and goddesses they praised,
Raise your eyes to the children they raised,
Get lost in their eternal gaze,
Put yourself in their sedated daze.
Their way of life was not a phase,
Maybe your the ones lost in the haze...
I have seen what they have seen,
And been where they have been.
