DRUGS POEM

Seen it on a commercial
I see this drink, that's not on my list
Just the look of the bottle, its hard to resist
For now I am sober
By the weekend the streak will be over
Is the price right?
Will it taste good on a Saturday night?
Questions swirl in my head
Not very good when you are trying to get to bed
The obsession
Will serve a lesson
In time the body pays the crime
Sick and down to the final dime
Not that I drink everyday
For a while I can stay away
Days, weeks and even a month or six
When life appears too hard, its time to get a fix
...
Just the look of the bottle, its hard to resist
For now I am sober

Just say yes
Would you lie to me?
Face to face
Or behind my back where I cannot see
Simple answer of phrase
Would you die for me?
You know I would for you
Can you cry with me?
Together like sticks and glue
Just take me away
From what I feel and what I know
Life is pain on display
Will it go or grow?
I could give you my hand, give you my heart
Can you ever do the same?
Right from the start?
Or play another evil game
My eyes are locked in on you
Every word and every move
I'm not stalking you, the whispers are not...
Face to face
Or behind my back where I cannot see

No plans of sleep
The eyes are burning
For sleep the body is yearning
Yet the eyes will not close at all
Just wondering at the wall
Muscles want rest
They are always pushed to the test
The mind deals with so much
Reality and society have lost its touch
Laying in bed
Never enough to be said
People do not understand
The effects of a constant demand
We are searching for so much
In our hearts and in life as such
Hours passing by
Lost forever but why?
Fatigue may rule the day
Like everything else that will stay

Last of the days
The sun is dead
The grass is gone
Air and sky are full of red
Forever on the brink of dawn
Clouds are grey
Leaves have dried and fell to the ground
Not a living soul can stay
Nothing has produced sound
The flowers fall and cry
As life is being sucked away
Even to the final fly
With no a second of delay
A bolt of lightening
Crashing sound of thunder
So powerful and frightening
Yet no existence can even wonder
Sea's are so still
The wind has died today
Nothing left to kill
As earth appears to die...
The grass is gone
Air and sky are full of red

Any-time any-place
Pray for the one's in pain
From sickness, sadness or going insane
Because prayers travel through a river
Spiritually and in time they deliver
If you ask you will receive
A simple action that shall not deceive
It's the thought that matters most
Through every person, ocean to ocean and coast to coast
Pray for the one's we love
Or safety of the many who are above
Perhaps even for yourself
To ask for help not wealth
Their is a higher power
Watching over us every minute and every hour
As we do wrong and right
Before we pray...

Often to remember
Love is so Divine
It should age like a fine wine
Roses and hearts for only one
Two lovers under the sun
The feeling is so pure
It is a broken souls cure
If it can only stay
An keep the darkness away
Everything would be alright
Because we would be each others delight
Hand in hand on the beach
All of life would be with in arms reach
Their would not be a hurry
Nice and slow, no finish in a furry
Lust is a demon that's on the go
Love stands the test of time and says no
Passion and care
Beyond a dreamer that is...

In this cage
I am in this cell
Stuck in jail behind these bars
Until I arrive in heaven or hell
6th floor below or in the stars
It is so dark
Cold and in these narrow walls
This is no walk in the park
Sitting on this bed, in silence there are never phone calls
Waiting for the day
When the door opens, and I will be free
It will never come, eternity perhaps I will stay
Every movement on camera they can see
How did this occur?
What happened in the past?
How long have I been here for?
This all hit me so fast

Never is the same
The sun dries out the rain
Clouds just run away
All goes down the drain
Wish it could stay
The wind that comes and goes
Temperatures that climb and fall
A future no one knows
Only the past to recall
The weather man predicts
Based on what he see's
As slowly the time ticks
Storms cross the mighty sea's
Leaves that fly away
Like flowers and the bee's
Only for a while they can stay
Soon snow will touch our knee's
Baseball ends so soon
Football slowly marches in
Countdown starts on Sunday at noon

Life in a story
I remember the home work back in the days
Holding my cafeteria lunch with grey trays
The yellow bus passing by
A alarm clock to rely on, and to get up but why?
Looking back my childhood was rough
Full of stress and challenging stuff
A divorce and often was sick
My brain was ticking like a bomb tick, tick
Family issues and people at school
The world appeared so cold and cruel
Before my first story posted online
An my first laptop with a IBM sign
I remember playing sports in the yard
Going all out and playing hard

The calling of an angel
I miss the warmth from your skin
As your eyes are all on me
The times I could not wait to see you again
Everyone said we where meant to be
The midnight calls and the words of love
Every moment that together we spent
Where did you go?, the angel sent from above
Away into the sky she went
At night I call her name
Missing everything that was of her
Only to wonder, did she ever do the same
It would be beautiful, if it would ever occur

On this day
September 11th I will remember
On the TV screen images that render
Lives where lost on this day
Safety that was taken away
The families crying eyes
Eight years the victim's have been in the heavens skies
Life has never been the same
Relief of answers and a war after never came
My prayers and my thoughts for those who died
For everyone effected that also survived
Please remember this day
Forever because death does not go away
Still as I wonder staring into the sky
Why did this have to happen as tears form to cry
Memories...
On the TV screen images that render
Lives where lost on this day

From two eyes in the sky
Time to open the eyes
It is another day, another sunrise
Tired and warn down from the day before
Another day of war in store
The men that once where by my side
Only a empty bed is what now may reside
Death for the country and another young man
Just doing the best he can
Fight against evil, that put many to their graves
For freedom and millions of lives it saves
Germany is the force
Killing many by the millions with no remorse
Jew's being slaughtered one by one
While invading other lands that are simply won
