~ BLIND~
There was a time when I caught your eye across a crowded room,
Who knew a love was soon to bloom.
Who knew one day I would be your groom.
The time went by, it went by so fast.
I thought our love would always last.
With children in our heart and you as my wife,
I could ask no more for a wonderful life.
With tears in your eyes and pain in your heart.
There came a night when you asked that we part.
It hasn't been long
And it still feels wrong.
How was i blind to what was going on?

Lost in the shadows
Lost in the light
Without you with me im lost in the night
I look to the left
I look to the right
Im lost with visions of you flooding my sight
Please come and find me
Please ease my mind
For I'll stay lost with out you
My love I will keep confined

~A SMILE~
A smile on your face is what i miss
I would give it all up for just one kiss
Do i dare to be so bold
To tell you my heart is dark and cold
Because its you i long to hold
You light a fire deep in my soul
Where my happiness once was is now a hole
Like a tightly wound spring you have my heart bound
Visions of us are all around
I think of running,running from the pain
My love for you makes me stay for its your love i wish to gain
There is only one thing that keeps these thoughts at bay
The hope to see you smile at the end of each day.

Standing in this spot reminiscent of the past.
I cant believe it went by so fast.
Standing here thinking of you.
What was it, what did i do.
Standing here all alone when your love came my way.
I cant help but think of you every single day.
