Fidus Achates
Fidus Achates...
Fidus achates, that's what you are
It's TRUE, your my very best friend
An assiduously hard working woman
Who I want around til the end...
Your a paragon of beauty
With whom I stand in awe
Puchritudinous like I've never seen
With not even one single flaw...
I yearn for you more and more each day
And I say that with the utmost verity
I want you my darling in every single way
And I mean that with the greatest sincerity...
Your truly so unencumbered
You let nothing stand in your way ...

Lockdown 1
Lockdown 1
All alone in an empty room
No one to talk to,its just me
The echoes are loud in this silence
That's reverberating violently...
Darkness clings on to each corner
This rooms closing in on me
The walls arent high and the ceiling is low
This rooms shrinking constantly...
I can hear a spider spin his web
I can hear a fly buzzing around
The silence is getting louder
Yet theres no one here to be found...?
Dust fragments are floating around me
For they too appear to be lost
They're not...
All alone in an empty room

Lockdown 2
Lockdown 2
All alone in this empty house
Theres no one here,its just me
Picture the scene if you will?
It's the loneliest place you could be...
You notice things you've never seen before
All the mark's and scuffs on the wall
The door that's constantly creaking
And the squeaking floor in the hall..
The TV doesnt interest you
It's simply just a background noise
There could be a war about to start
But the TV's just a niggling voice
So you grab yourself a bag of crisps
Followed by a chocolate bar
Then it's on...
All alone in this empty house
Theres no one here,its just me

Once Upon A Dream
Once upon a wish a dream came true
It was one from near the top of my list
A dream that I clearly hadn't thought through
There's more I'd like to have than I wished.
It's nothing to do with money
And it's nothing to do with fancy goods
I don't crave a fancy £10,000 car
And I don't want shoes, shirts or hoods.
I just want to be me if I'm honest
There's nothing wrong with the shoes on my feet
The jeans that I wear are functional
Don't need fancy clothes to feel complete.
My wish is for fresh morning air
My wish...

Man Versus Man
I'm sick to death of death!
It's all you tend to hear at my age...
In an uncertain angry planet
It seems everyone is filled with rage.
I'm sick to death of life!
It's not as kind as it once was...
Fragrant smells no longer linger
Everyone answers with "Just Because"
No focus, no direction, no incentive
No motivation in the lives of the youths
Instead they shuffle like a pig in it's trough
Feeding on unspoken truths.
I'm sick to death of this world
It's cruel with an uncontrollable tongue

I'd Like To Write A Poem
I'd like to write a poem
But I dont know where to start?
Some say it's not a poem
Unless it comes straight from your heart
But what if you dont have a heart?
No! Thats not what I mean...
What if your heart is beyond repair?
Because of all its heard and seen...
How can one apply emotion?
How does one emphasize?
How can we express devotion?
If we can not sympathise...
I'm my head theres a story
In my heart, so much love

Fairy Dust
Chasing after fairies with a butterfly net?
I want to sprinkle their good fortune on my head
But they're almost impossible to catch of course,
For if they are then their folklore is dead.
But if I can make them a genuine promise
If I can make them put their trust in me
Their sprinkling of good fortune won't be wasted
For I'll set every trapped soul on Earth free.
Their confidentiality is paramount
It's the reason I've got so close
Now I want a good splash of good fortune
Now I want a good fortune overdose...
I think we should...

I've Sung My Song...
Someone said, Hey! Don't do that
Dont you know that that is wrong?
I replied, well I dont care
I've been doing it this way for so long...
As I walked off I thought to myself
Why can't folk just let me be?
Everyone has to much to say
And I really just want to be free...
Looking around I saw so many faces
Many from my past and some new,
But all of the faces looking back at me
Appeared to be looking straight through?
Well I dont care what they think
And I dont care what they say..
I only care what my closest think ...
Dont you know that that is wrong?
I replied, well I dont care
I've been doing it this way for so long...

Resplendent
Breathtaking that's what she is
And get this? She don't even know it!
Magnolious as she stands in the sun
Long black hair in her gorgeous outfit
Dazzling as she unknowingly melts
The iceberg that's protecting my heart
I stand in awe at this stunning woman
In her life I want a big part

Her smile lights the fire in my soul
I'm falling in love with this beautiful lady

Seventy Five Trips Around The Sun
Seventy five trips around the Sun
(If your lucky)
From darkness comes light as we are born
Being held in the arms of our Mother
Her grips so tight it feels secure
The start of our love of each other...
Warm and familiar her peculiar scent
As she feeds me to help me grow strong
Before I know it I'm on my first trip
Around the Sun as time pushes on...
My first birthday and boy am I spoiled
With yellow red and blue plastic toys
A gift from my two older Sisters
And a pat on the back from the boys... ...

Rainbow Paint
This rainbow is dripping droplets?
Some red some green some blue
The yellow ones havent fallen yet
But I'll let you know when they do
The're landing on the pavement before me
Creating a colourful oil slick
A kaliedoscope of colours
Coating each and every brick
Its God, he's painting the landscape
That's the yellow ones falling now
It's beautiful like being in a photograph
That's painted by God somehow
I'm taken down my umbrella
Cos I want the colours on my face
I want to be like a chameleon
Unique...

Standing in the shadows
Nothing appears to be important
Except you, You're all that is....
Stop hampering these ill feellings
Let me cure it with a kiss
You generate so much interest
But by all the wrong men
