Why Bother
Why do I bother to ask
When they don’t want to give
I keep wearing a mask
Of content in order to silently live
Why do I bother to dream
That tomorrow is going to be okay
When tomorrow seems
To be like any other painful day
They tell me I have to be the one
To give from the bottom of the heart
Why do I have to be the Sun
When the Moon doesn’t want to take a part
I always hide behind a smile
I laugh to show the world that all is fine
When shadows dark...
When they don’t want to give

Dreams
I’ve never been a believer in dreams
I never thought of anything
Other than what it seems
I have built a life made of stones
Stacked each and every one
All on my own
It all started tumbling down
Washed by gushing tears
Choking me as I drown
I have always thought my life
Was nothing but a waste of time
A place full of misery and strife
Right until we finally met
Dreams started to make sense
Every minute I began to regret
How can eyes be so blind
I did not see in front...
