I am relatively new to poetry, my only experience being that on DUP. I enjoy love and erotic poems the most and like rhyming poetry.

Waves of a bubble bath
Reclined in water steaming,
Her form obscured by clouds of bubbles,
Hair drifting like flotsam at sea,
This captivating mermaid of mine,
Penetrating eyes open.
She smiles.
Elegant fingers swirl those clouds,
Ruby nipples exposed from beneath,
Hand trails down between parted legs,
Porcelain thighs widen.
She sighs.
I collapse hungrily into that sea,
Throwing myself into the torrent,
Welcoming her wet embrace,
Lips meet lips.
She moans.
We join.
In the waves of a bubble bath.

Across the living room gulf
I gaze upon your face
Across this vast and empty space
How could we end up in this place?
How could we have lost our pace?

Letter for my lover
Dear Lover
I beg of you please,
Allow me to be frank,
About my attributes,
Of which you may rank;
There’s little of Wilde's Dorian,
Upon my face,
Instead it is weathered,
A tired, worn place;
There's not much of Einstein,
Within my brain,
It's broken and battered,
From a life full of pain;
There's minimal Da Vinci,
Created by these hands,
Calloused and rough,
As hot desert sands;
There's none of Cassanova,
Within my lust,
My appetites more tame,
Than such wild...

My truest love
I’ve watched her dance
Through woodland glades
Elegantly draped in only
Sunlight and shadows.
I’ve seen her bathe
Under glistening waterfalls
Her perfect elfin form
Beaded with crystalline droplets.
I’ve marvelled as she’s nursed
And calmed bawling infants
Beautiful as both giver
And preserver of life.
I’ve laughed as she did
Whilst chasing and playing
As freely and wildly
As the children she frolicked with.

As she has offered herself
