Each Mask She Wears
Each mask she wears dilutes her soul
They hide her sparkle and take her whole
The businesswoman who can never fail
The working mum whose façade is stale
The wife who must love, honour and obey
Those expectations fade her whole being away
That whole being feels like a distant star
One dimming speckle in a galaxy afar
A woman of all trades, and a master of none
With the weight of the world, fulfilling everyone
Every person in her life accepting each disguise
The more they want, the more she tries

Hooked On Him Forever
Her patience wanes, she counts down slowly
With each calm breath, she begins to feel lonely
To control her anger, caused by his mistakes
Just one mean look, that’s all it takes
Jekyll and Hyde, meet the monster
A pitiful apology, never enough to subdue her
Last night’s bliss, now forgotten dreams
This day brings demons, tearing them apart at the seams
Drowning in rage, nothing makes sense
Shutting love down, she builds her defence
Attacking him gently, until he is broken
Lures him in coyly, her contempt, softly spoken
...
With each calm breath, she begins to feel lonely

An Abyss of Forgotten Dreams
Decaying in predictable routines
an abyss of forgotten dreams
the stench of familiarity
monotonous tasks cloud the clarity
Despising your chosen role
follow the expected, sold your soul
the fear of loosing controls each day
once your dependence was taken away
Controlled by the need to satisfy
the desire to please bleeds you dry
to fit into the empty mould
lifeless addictions have made you cold
Empty cares for responsibilities
weakened by perfect vanities
searching the void for a meaning
excavate your heart to find a...

In hallucination avenue
Speeding through my mind
A speckle lost in the universe
I see the humid reflections that lie
Shadows of forgotten dreams
Run from searching eyes
My path is lost in the abyss

She's Gone
Eyes full of emptiness
Lips unable to kiss
losing his baby
a whole life to miss
She left without warning
no last words goodbye
no whispered sweet nothings
no second chance to try
Afraid of the future
he yearns for the past
left without reason to stop her
to make their love last
There's no turning back
to the way they used to be
living without control
this tragedy, unable to foresee
She'll be gone forever
he's left with heartbreak
as she's lowered to her grave ...

Forever Alive
opening those hazel eyes
one last time to soak up her world
to gaze upon the loves of her life
before taking a final breath
leaving a heavens worth of memories
breaking familiar habits with her departure
creating an ocean of tears
for all those who loved her
leaving generations in grief
this woman came as a pair
still wearing her eternity ring
her soul mate eternally there
living on in her best friend
trusting him to look after their home
their personal heaven, the world they built
knowing he will never...

Lovers Playground
His silence speaks out loud frustrations
Growing tension, intense interrogations
My discomfort and sly eye movements
Disagreements, test his patience
My sadness grows, his pacing slows
Contradicting feelings, out for their own
Her secret thoughts of escape
His angry passion, dreams of rape
Fearful rows and tearful fights
The result of a lovers plight
Defend their corner, stand their ground
Just another game in a lovers playground

Poisonous Lovers
A deadly nightshade
His wilting flower
A thorny rose bush
Her Autumn shower
Spreading such happiness
Fulfilling his heart
Hold him so close
And then tears it apart
Uncontrollable passion
falsely feeling invincible
Then with one insensitive action
Again, the foundations crumble
Blinded by anger
Familiar empty threats
Overnight becoming enemies
Full of contempt and regrets
She loses her faith
He looses his touch
Refusing to care
Their pride controls too much
Poisonous love
Somehow...

I dream of all I should not desire
To burn myself in a woman’s fire
Her silky skin those tempting lips
Her angel eyes, curvaceous hips
This hunger inside I dare not feed
From the first glance you planted the seed
I ache to taste your forbidden flavour
For every taste I would savour
These fantasies I do so well to hide
Until you walked right by my side

Im now caged in a sexual hell

Hell burning inside
Nightmares of horror
Of when he cheated and lied
Deserved accusations
Jealous hurtful screams
Mindless forgiveness

Nothing feels right
All the answers feel wrong
you can’t sleep at night

Commanding manipulations

I want to give you sweetness every day
But life’s troubles seem to get in the way
I want to cherish and adore
But your negativity makes it a chore
I want to take you far away
And make love to you every day
I want us to disappear for a while
But then you make me run a mile
I want to forget all of our cares
But then you discuss our current affairs
I want to be fun and free
But then you ask to marry me
I want to live in here and now
But then you questions, where and how
I want a life filled with passion ...
