I'm tragically in love with you
I torture myself with thoughts of you
With longing for you I'm afflicted
I'm cutting myself with the shards of my past
Somehow I've become masochistic
Wondering if one day you'll learn to accept me
Maybe it's too unrealistic
But my heart writhes and twists
For the sting of your kiss
Necrotic and sweetly sadistic
How I cry out for you in the depths of my soul
As my joy is reduced to a cinder
See how I mourn
So sad and forlorn
How I begged you to please reconsider
No one will love you the way that I do

Hollow Love
Its hard for me to forget you
Maybe i just don't know how to
Just leave me in this sweet suffering
Its better than suffering without you
Lets pretend that we are strangers
Well after all its true
I wont keep watering with my tears
The love that never grew
This hollow love you give me
Always leaves me needing more
But every time we start again
Its far worse than before
I can touch but never reach you

The Landscape of Our love
Meet me at the foothills of your fantasy
Across the merry meadows of your mind
through the valleys of your vision
Where our worlds become entwined
We'll paddle down your stream of thought
To the shores of your serenity
I'll be a mirror to your soul
Reflecting your divinity
I'll sit and watch your every action
And lose myself beside you for a while
I want to catch the rays of your reactions
So i can feel the sunlight of your smile
We can escape together
Well fly off like a dove
To a place that is much better ...

Introspection
I’m looking through myself
To the other side of me
The side that holds all of the things
I tried hard not to see
I see the many patterns
All programmed to repeat
Created by lies
Forming ties
To spell out my defeat
I’ll have to make a change
If one step at a time
The only thing I think is strange
Is I thought I was fine
But now I understand
And I see a little clearer
Maybe now ill see a better man
When looking in the mirror
Objective introspection
I delve a little deeper
Till I can look at my reflection
And say...

As it Passes
If I could say that for one second you were mine
Then it would all be worth it
If I could say that for one moment we were one
Then that would be just perfect
But I really have no clue
If I were anything to you
Other than a petty passing fancy
It took the heartache to remind me
That I was just walking blindly
Reaching out for something that I can’t see
But ignorance is bliss
When you seal it with a kiss

Parasite
You left something inside my heart
An im trying to get it out
But its stuck like glue

Nothing Left
She was sent to punish me
She did her job quite well
She had no other motivation
As far as I can tell
She was sent to maim me
The scars she left run deep
Though she gave me fleeting joys
That I could never keep
She brought me swift destruction
Calamity and woe
And such bittersweet memories
I never could let go
She left me there to suffer
A slow and painful death
As sorrow ate away at me
Till there was nothing left
She did her job quite well
She had no other motivation

Electric Lady Land
There’s a place I go inside my head
When on the inner paths I tread
When my eyelids turn to led
And I sink into my bed
Pulsating pictures point the way
As I drift by purple pelican bay
where fully flavored gum trees sway
and lickable liquorish leeches lay
I dived into a sea of dreams
In a yellow submarine
A thousand miles past Pepperland
I came to a shore of purple sand
Where drifting dreamers in a daze
Were not the slightest bit amazed
to see bicycling butterflies ...

Ropes of Sand
I dug for myself a deep dark hole
In a dry and barren land
The only tools that I now hold
Are these fickle ropes of sand
I need something to hold on to
If someone could just lend a hand
But Im all alone
Far from home
So i'll have to do what I can
But still these ropes wont hold me
They crumble in my grasp
The devil mocks my every attempt
Sand demons jeer and laugh
My only escape from this dreadful place
Is with solid ropes of faith
And with my faith waxed strong at last
ill find my way back to the path

The Devil is a Woman
The Devil is a woman
This I rightly know
I met her one dark evening
Many sad sad moons ago
She burned me with desire
She betrayed me with a kiss
She fanned for me the flames of hell
And made it look like bliss
With the fiery gates between her legs
A pitchfork on her tongue
She made me sing the saddest song
That e'er could be sung
Her presence in my life
was as a passing storm'
I know we'll meet again some day
She's always changing form
...
This I rightly know

Returning to the infinite
Springing forth from causless cause
Ever to unfold and bloom
The seed of life sown in death

Narrow Gate
Invoke the sacred name of christ
And let that which cannot abide depart
Abide ye in the teachings of the wise
And cleanse the inner reaches of your heart
Cast off the heavy burden of desires
And put on the lighter yoke of faith
Then thou mayest walk through flame and fires
And enter the kingdom through the narrow gate.
