On My Own
The room was stilled with madness as the screen just told it all,
There was no reason, rhyme or time to think of hidden walls,
I reached out with such gladness, just thrilled to see her name,
Simply eager-beavered me, hoping for the same.
I'd tended to my wounded heart as much as could a man,
I tried to bring a smile or two, at least that was my plan,
I typed on one and then the other as writers tend to do,
Until I found my typing was out-typing sexy you.
I tried my best to not obsess, but damn if that worked out,
I found myself just...

The Dream Who Shared My Pen
Some dreams are made in heaven and some dreams are made on earth,
Dreams that simply make us dream about what dreams are worth,
But I had once a most exciting dream between my arms,
The kind of dream that blew my mind with all her sexy charm.
She had a way that warmed my heart like no one ever could,
She always made me crave her more and gave me constant wood,
She drove me crazy with her smile and knew just what to do,
She teased and pleased and even sneezed like no other one could do.
She knew my buttons very well and one very well indeed,
She looked...

Against Our Choice of Will
Sorrow seems seductive, invitation to the tears,
Regret remembers endlessly, folly fills our fears,
Lonely lingers lasting love, emptiness ever after,
Heartbreak hurls horrific hurt, longing lulls the laughter.
Angst is anguish, pains are pleas, mistakes are made in twos,
Questions calm, no secret balm for why that I love you.
Footprints fade, forgotten stayed, prayers protect our peace,
Only waste is only haste and creativity creased,
Puddles muddle, seas befuddle, no one there to care,
Spoken broken promises with so little time to spare.
Somber...

No Day, No Way, No Night
He walked amid a million tears that lapped upon the shore,
Without a question in his mind, of who had loved who more,
The sun fell slowly silent and the water's edge turned gray,
He called her name out to the sea that took his life away.
The salt he smelled upon the air was the taste her skin did bear,
The red the sun wore as it sank was the color of her hair,
Her smile was simply radiance that just gave the sky a glow,
He called her name out pleadingly, "please never let me go?"
The wind died slowly on the beach where souls find grains to...

It's Not That Way For Me
The shams are left in silence while the splinters still remain,
Of memories as the days gone by with nothing to explain,
The words seem vacant as they echo deep inside the womb,
Where thoughts conceived will simply leave abandoning their tomb.
No disclosure ever seems enough to speak one's mind,
What we seek we try to keep as what's been left behind,
And shattered shards surround the swirling need to understand,
Why broken dream's catharsis only yeilds to one's own hand.
Empathic empire of the mind, release my stuttered pace,

When Fantasies Were Free
The shards of shameless ecstasy we weave within our minds,
Forgiven in our fantasies that victimize the blind,
For those who chose the primrose path of chaste shall waste away,
Without a care to what was there and where the whispers play.
Charasmatic confidante, the fence shall hide the spoils,
Far from fractured fairy tales that serpentinely coils,
To twist their way into our minds sublime as they may be,
And journey's backward to the day when fantasies were free.
How deep recesses to unfold to bring to our attention,
Plastic is forever while the...

Letting Go
One can only wonder of the users veiled indeed,
Their numbers swell behind their names to plant their secret seeds,
Until it does no good at all, they fall to those who know,
And yet I find myself again no way to let it go.
How I wish that I could see the evening’s veiled expense,
From where I stand surrounded by a fallen picket fence,
Being told in rhymes so bold illusions one by one,
Verses, curses, two part dreams, no doubt without the sun.
How dare the somber sycophants, who glace from veiled retreat,
Soft promotions lay devotion’s swill...

Without Her Knowing Why
There are no words that I can pen to page that she’ll believe,
No dreams that were not broken by the need to feel bereaved,
No flowing hair beneath the moon, no eyes to know were mine,
No reason in the universe to find another rhyme.
No breath enough, no sigh alive, no words she’d understand,
No room to take, or plans to make, just talking to the hand.
No relief and no belief and no it’s not that way,
No intentions meant at all to know that no allays,
Every single thing we shared meant nothing in the end,
But how to learn to heal inside the heart that...
