Love in game playing
I knew we weren’t meant to last but I ate it with pride
We knew how to cultivate but we chose to decimate
Comfortable under calamity for different reasons
We stayed longer than expected
Attached through the games played
Life decisions made based off fantasies we keep in mind
I made the mistake of taking your bare minimum
Knowingly you were capable of more
You convinced me it was all in my head & became spoon fed with words only

The wolf of mistreat
We were a pack of wolves who were connected by emotions
We hustled but ate off different plates
I chose to come see where you ate & felt the most comfortable
You made me feel welcomed each time I stayed
You gave full access to whatever whenever I wanted
We started & went hard from the beginning
I saw potential & you assured me it was worth it
The potential I saw was my own image of what I saw in you
Brought to tears in the place I saw you eat at

Couldn’t be thanked enough
There were times I was reluctant to open up & would always say laTer
We were prepared to reveal laYers when the time was right
I made plans for laTer that never happened like yesterday’s news
I tried to make sure each laYer you peeled back was more flavorful than the last like trident gum
You showed what I expected when laTer became you favorite excuse
Each time you couldn’t understand why I’d always {T}hank {Y}ou
(LaTer never came & we exposed the wrong laYers)

Traveled with baggage carried by the heart
We spent time together with a pocket full of cabbage
We sat & ate like animals with a plate full of cabbage
You kept a tight grip on the broccoli while we burned through the cabbage
We shined for a while then you showed your baggage
I took care of your baggage like it was trash that need to be taken out
You created affects that only you were able to benefit from
I claimed your baggage before I know how many problems It’d come with
(The cabbage sat in baggage claim)

The long run made it tougher
We spent days forgetting about the time until reality hit
Heated discussions showed true intentions & I was aware
I answered when you chose to call me out my name
You were blessed with a mirror & a warning label
You didn’t care to communicate so it was no need to resuscitate
Before you got cut I gave you doses of what I put up with
I studied the actions & understood the intent
(Time soured & made it worse)

I came to you with zipped lips & open ears to show I wanted to listen

I kept the sack in the pack Just in case I needed to get back
I kept it close when you started doing the most
We stayed clean even though we had green
I didn’t want much but you offered a dutch
You kept a stash so I wouldn’t use my own cash
you made it a necessity to keep even though I made you weep
You loved gettin loud even if there was no crowd
