Ashes
Goodbye heart so sweet
I forgot, it never got to beat.
Angels were crying
and their Halos turned into Horns.
What was once taught
we now turn into reform,
Like a coming storm.
.
Outcast on the otherside,
it would be simple just to lie.
But I'm just that other guy,
and thats the reason why.
.
If I wake up
from this dream I'm having here.
Don't deny me the pleasure,
just hand me another beer.
Reality is not something I need near.
.
The demons worm into my soul I guess,
feasting hungrily on my unpious flesh....

The Wedding Wish
My wish for you today my loves
as you journey on your way.
May your path be lit by God
and the devil not lead you astray.
Keep your faith in eachother
even when things go wrong.
For it's because of these trials
that make a marriage strong.
Hold eachother tightly
and never let go.
Because love is like a summers day
even when there's snow.
Never take advantage
of the one you hold today.
For what God has given you
he will someday call away.
So build a life together.
One that's very long. ...

Comfort
Whenever darkness falls,
I stuggle to find the peace.
For I know that God is good,
and he want's my pain released.
For in this hour of darkness,
it's hard to see what's right.
It take's a lot of focus,
to finally see the light.
My anger now extinguished,
and in his hands I lay.
I know the pain will go away,
just maybe not today.
For now I am comforted
by those I cherish most,
The Father and the Son,
and of course the Holy Ghost.
May God be with you alway's
and light the path you take. ...

I die
Friday night cocktail.....Vicoden, Valium and Beer.
I hide my pain in the pills the doctor prescribes.
I know I'm dying, but I can't handle the pain.
So I inebriate myself into unconscious denial.
I want to feel, I don't want to cry.
Lord lift my pain and let me die.

LOVE POEM

Two Hearts
It's a beautiful summer day
and we are having a picnic.
Our blanket is spread out
in the meadow. We are high
in the mountains and all alone.
.
You gaze over at me as I stare
up into the sky. I'm thinking
how much I love this moment with you.
I return your gaze and stare deeply
into your eyes, perhaps looking,
maybe asking.
.
I pull you hard into my embrace
and whisper "I cannot live without you."
You hold me tightly and say
"I love you."
No words have ever sounded so sweet
or inviting.

Masks
Your like a trick-or-treater
with the masks that you wear.
You say that you no longer like my face,
at least it's original,
but that's not your case.
You say I'm just like every other man,
you've had plenty, so I can understand.
I'm not petty so you can stay right here,
but your words have already proved,
your nothing sincere.
The wrath of woman is never as bad,
as the relationship that you and I had.
So if you think I'm fearing any wrath from you,
your dillusional again and a whack job too.
I was drunk...

The Ring part II
A funny thing about that Ring,
something amazing started happening.
Small and tiny at the start,
but deep inside an ember sparked.
Awakening from it's dormant sleep,
A secret no longer would it keep.
In a voice so faint no one could hear,
The Gem heard a mans voice,
then it felt a tear.
Startled from this sudden rain,
it felt the emotion of love, not pain.
And then upon it's faceted eye's,
it glimpsed a man it recognized.
Tears were streaming from that man,
as he held the ring within his hand.
And then...

The Ring part 1
That diamond ring she's sporting,
doesn't sparkle like it used to,
she just doesn't understand.
It always shown so brilliantly,
when it was on another hand.
it sits upon your finger,
of you it is not a part.
Too ashamed to give it's beauty,
because you tore away it's heart.
What once gave brilliance of light,
now sits alone and cries.
The gem turning milky,
a victim of your lies.
It now holds only value,
it's beauty is no more.
You ripped it from it's righful heir,
it sparkles never more.

Duty, Honor, Country.
My chest swells, as I see my Son.
He came back, but not eveyone.
Those who died, I bow and pray.
They gave their all, for the USA.

Tears are rolling from each eye.
He could have been one to die.
When duty called, he answered true,
for freedom and, the red white and blue.

He has medals on his chest.
He is one of America's best.
Those brave me, I see today.
No longer kids, from yesterday.

Thanks to you, our nation stands.
We have freedom in our lands.
You brave men who stand today.
Beacuse of you,we...

The Lord sent you to me,
I know that's true.
I wanna spend the rest of my life,
Loving you.
What can I do?
I'm crazy 'bout you.

I remember just before we met,
I had it all, I was set.
And then you came through the door,
telling me there was much more.
I surrendered as you told me to,
like you said, Jesus would do.

I stepped out of myself and into the light.
I gave up everything that night,
for you,
and Jesus too.
