The Known
The known is better,
The unknown is far worse,
Change is in the air,
Times like these make me quiver,
It's something that I dread,
Never to know the future,
Why we stay with our abusers,
Because then we know,
We stay with our problems,
We know what to expect,
We know the future,
We then know how to heal,
Yet, we never truely heal,
The scars stay forever,
The mentallity always remains,
Because You will never leave...

Nothingness
Empty promises hang from the ceiling,
Broken mirrors cover the first wall,
Poems of your life cover the second,
Obituraries of the lost cover the third,
Pieces or twine and trinkets are shelved on the fourth,
The earth beneath my toes is damp,
I cannot place the feeling,
I know the color very well,
It's the ever lasting elixor,
The crimson, blood...
I then realize you,
Placed on your back,
The once pale white sheets,
Colored in your crimson,
The sheets cover your once glowing face,
I pull them back,
Your pale blue eyes stare...
Broken mirrors cover the first wall,
Poems of your life cover the second,

Pieces
Broken pieces slip through the cracks,
They are always missing,
The pieces that I need,
My heart will never be the same,
Prosthetic will not suffice,
Neither will old parts,
Sometimes one needs time to heal,
One needs the world at it's feet to regain trust,
Take that trust away,
You will never find those missing pieces,
My heart will remained shattered,
There will never be a fix all,
A damaged good,
A whimper for deaf ears...
They are always missing,
The pieces that I need,
My heart will never be the same,
Prosthetic will not suffice,
Neither will old parts,
Sometimes one needs time to heal,
One needs the world at it's feet to regain trust,
Take that trust away,
You will never find those missing pieces,

For Me..
Being lost in a world with no love,
Is the world we live in,
In the sea of darkness,
Lost to humankind,
This mind is trapped in a cage,
A steal one to be exact,
Like a bird on a pedestal,
Wanting to be free from these emotions,
Needing communication,
Wanting spoken words,
Thriving for the sound vibrations,
Even a glance by your eyes,
A crystal blue sky,
A chance of redemption,
I cannot be forgiven for my sins,
But, I can be thought of,
I can be accepted,
This is my wanted world...
Is the world we live in,
In the sea of darkness,
Lost to humankind,

What You've Done
I told you no,
You told me yes,
You've caused my death,
I hope you're pleasent,
I told you goodbye that fateful night,
You did nothing but laugh in my face,
I've cut my wrists until they bleed,
You stare and gawk in happiness,
I fall to my knees,
It's going dark,
Your face is all I see,
Smiling and laughing at me,
I am now dead,
Six feet under,
You stand over me and simply smile,
I ask why you've done this to me,
You say because you had nothing better to do,
This is my story,
I've gotten lost,
I need help to save...

Lost in your way,
Lost in my eyes,
I catch your falling star,
I look into your eyes,
Something about you draws me near,
Something about me,
You come in closer,
You see what covers my body,
They bleed,
I see what covers your body,
Fear and pain,
You feel the pain that I feel,
It scares you,
I feel your heart as my own,
It beats with mine,
Something about you makes me tremble,
Something about me makes you cry...

How to Die
Water, in a glass, in a river,
Fire, on a match, on my hand,
Wind, in the trees, in my lungs,
Earth, underneath me, I'm underneath it,
Going under, drowning,
Being consumed, burning,
Blown away, sufficating,
Falling down, burried alive,
Seeing the light go away,
Seeing nothing but the light,
Seeing your face as my last memory,
Seeing your face as you bury me,
My last movement, no one can feel,
My last cry, everyone just looks,
My last sound, no one but you laughs,
My last hope, no one but you can crush it,

Missing
I've been taken away,
Fled against my will,
I've been taken away,
Tied to the sill,
Duct tape ove the screaming,
Rope against my wrists,
Hog tied like a pig,
Super hero to the miss,
Breathing labored,
Nothing is sight,
Save this damsle,
Shinning in the night,
Like diamonds in the sky,
Clouds over head,
Please, come find her,
Confined to bed,
It's a living nightmare,
Twenty four seven,
In the bare,
Purples, blacks, blues and greens,
Nothing is left to this scene,
Blood, in a puddle, on the floor,
I cannot...

Broken
The momment my eyes opened is the momment my eyes began to rain like a thunder cloud,
The momment my body awoke is the momment it began to shake,
The momment my brain snapped out of it's trance is the momment it began to think far too much,
This is the momment in time that my bridge has broken,
This is the momment in time that my dam has sprung a leak,
Time moves slowley when you're stuck in this place in your mind,
This place is a dark place that no one can escape,
This place is built on a web of lies and a string of negativity,...

Hiding
Looking from the outside in,
Wanting acceptance in this world,
Awkwardly speaking with a stutter,
And walking without a purpose,
Resting in the corner of the room,
Hiding my pure white face from society,
Wearing gloves to keep a secret,
Insisting on solitude forever,
Voices don't reach my ears,
Sight does not reach my eyes,
Touch does not reach my scarred skin,
The taste of lonelyness stays on my tongue,
Things strike me as abnormal,
Things strike me as odd,
Things strike me as weird,
Things strike you as the same.

Speak
Kept inside a deep, dark box,
Throw away the key,
All you see inside this box,
Is light that you can't see,
Growling in the dark,
All you see is eyes,
Bright yellow, glowing things,
Floating in the sky,
Slowly time slips away,
Day becomes night,
Everything in your power,
Becomes fear and fright,
The pain becomes real,
So does the love,
The only thing left,
Is a beating heart,
There is a candle light,
That's all you can see,
Flickering in the dark,
The wind blows,
Slowly the warmth comes,...
