Ballerina
As a ballerina has trained their toes to perpetually flex,
I have trained my mind in patience where it should naturally vex,
And as a dancer my pain looks sweet,
Until you notice the swollen feet,
Why have I betrayed myself and remained loyal to those who step on all the dancer's toes?
I have trained my mind in patience where it should naturally vex,
And as a dancer my pain looks sweet,
Until you notice the swollen feet,
Why have I betrayed myself and remained loyal to those who step on all the dancer's toes?

Once Upon a Misunderstanding
To hate you is worthless,
To love you is pointless,
If I were to bottle the hatred I have for you,
It would result in an endless battle of bottles,
The only value would be on the glass bottles themselves,
As the hatred is just as worthless as your own self worth,
If I could, I would divorce you,
But as far as science goes,
I can not divorce the blood that runs through my veins,
The blood that literally keeps me living,
As the original supplier keeps on dying.

Web
I cried above a spider's web,
Lucky for the spider each tear dropped between each thread,
Felt too soon was relief,
For it began to pour;
And I watch the web unweave.
Lucky for the spider each tear dropped between each thread,
Felt too soon was relief,
For it began to pour;
And I watch the web unweave.

When I am Gone
If you were to crack open this skull of mine, you would find an ordinary looking mind,
Grey and red of course,
In a body limp now with dead,
But when I was alive,
Madness would thrive,
The lump inside,
While I was alive,
Seemed crazed and programmed only to make me cry,
Filled with life and thoughts of death,
Anxiety lived with every breath,
The creatures I found, (or possibly made),
Now gone; drowned,
In a blood found in the messy mind of my cracked brain,
Showing you nothing of the torment that grew,
It...

Regret
Death is nature's sleeping pill,
In death comes sleep,
Eternal deep,
In the eyes of others my morbid relief,
My dreams aren't dreams,
They're memories,
A poison pen to write a letter,
To fix upon my life's vendetta,
The suffering of sanity,
The victim's disease,
The symptoms of guilt,
Brings man to his knees.
In death comes sleep,
Eternal deep,
In the eyes of others my morbid relief,
My dreams aren't dreams,
They're memories,
A poison pen to write a letter,
To fix upon my life's vendetta,
The suffering of sanity,
The victim's disease,
The symptoms of guilt,
Brings man to his knees.
