POEMS AND SHORT STORIES

Never have I known a love as pure as this,
When I first held you in my arms,
it was the feeling of pure bliss.
The softness of your skin,
softer than a peach.
You have no idea how much miss you,
now you are out of reach.
Never have I known a life as precious as this,
When I look upon your little face,
I give your forehead a kiss.
The sweet sound of your giggle,
Like music to my ears.
For when I hold you in my arms
I don't have any fears.
Never have I known a bond as strong as this,
When I watch you while you're sleeping....

Being in my mind
Being trapped inside my mind is a hell I can't escape,
I can't believe what happened was supposed to be my fate.
A million tears have fallen from my eyes that have seen so much,
This little girls body, no one had the right to touch.
I have all these memories of the innocence he ruined,
the little girl I used to be and the way he left me muted.
On those abandoned train tracks where he left me cold and frightened,
I leave that little girl I was and try to keep on fighting.
