POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Poetry is my entire life. That's pretty much all there is to say.
The Night.
At first, I thought, this must be manipulation;
I’d heard so many stories, I knew your reputation.
But something inside me wouldn’t let you pass me by;
You’d wink in my direction, all blue eyes and wicked smiles.
And every time our gazes clashed, I waged a war inside;
Was it worth all I’d be risking to keep you satisfied?
Of course it was worth it, and I never could have resisted.
I didn’t care about the stakes; my thoughts had become so twisted.
The first night was like a razor to my vein;
I’d never been so happy, so out of control, so insane. ...

I'm Begging You
She's home again, she's all alone;
she loses control.
Her parents don't know what the hell is going on.
She's been hiding all her life, away from all this strife;
(she's insane, she's insane.)
She thinks her only friend is the knife that scars her side;
She's insane, she's insane, she's terrified.
The razor gleams in her direction, escape is what she finds;
but she won't take her life tonight.
(Chorus:)
Where should I go?
Where can I run?
What can I do to help you through?
Every scar makes it worse,
I'm begging you......
she loses control.
Her parents don't know what the hell is going on.
She's been hiding all her life, away from all this strife;
(she's insane, she's insane.)
She thinks her only friend is the knife that scars her side;
She's insane, she's insane, she's terrified.
The razor gleams in her direction, escape is what she finds;
but she won't take her life tonight.
(Chorus:)
Where should I go?
Where can I run?
What can I do to help you through?
Every scar makes it worse,
I'm begging you......

.Almost Empty.
Suicide shines in her almost empty eyes,
No amount of marks could cover all the things she has to hide.
When she finally comes to her senses, all she sees is red,
And she's screaming at the voices that she hears inside her head.
Blood drips to the floor, she watches it in awe;
If the pain can overwhelm her, eventually shell feel nothing at all.
So she carves his name in silence, a name shell never speak,
A scar shell cover carefully, he'll never know she's weak.
She won't acknowledge his existence, won't let her soul be used!
Blocking out all...

Sadistic Tragedy
She's no longer breathing
While slowly she slips
Into a world where she feels nothing,
An emotionless abyss...
A place where she doesn't have
To bottle up inside.
Her fears can show themselves;
The tears don't have to hide.
A stream down her face,
Unnoticed, who cared?
Now she sits in the floor,
With a black, captivating stare.
Speaking to the voices
Who aren't even there.
Everything is nothing,
So there's nothing to repair.
So many pieces to pick up,
So many stains to clean...
How could no one see
The red that...

Here We Go Again
Hello,
my little bloody friend,
I let you go,
But here we go again.
I thought that we were done,
Thought you and I were through,
But I'm looking at a scene
That seems too good to be true.
Of a girl in a mirror,
Pressing deep into her skin,
All she craves is the release,
She's got an instinct to give in.
I watch her start to cry,
Silently she screams,
But she knows no one can hear,
How hopeless she feels, how weak.
The world spins slowly around her,
But her head is spinning fast,
She doesn't want to look
Doesn't want...

I let you go,
But here we go again.
