What the Hell
I get it I guess,.
We fall back on what we know best,.
A simple way to not change,.
A way not to have to rearrange,.
Sometimes we relish in the pain,.
Like the fields relish in the acid rain,.
When you see me hanging around,.
Boosting WiFi from the watering holes downtown,.
Maybe you will see me as the friend I am,.
Then once again you can rediscover love my friend,.
Maybe I am narcissistic,.
I do know I am confident,.
But I will get you to understand what it is,.
You will know what my heart is capable of.,.,.,

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

I am Still Cynical
It is dark and lonesome,.
In time it can be sorted out,.
Rearrange the lights to shine in the hallways,.
Maybe light torches when we are outside,.
Set fire to the forests that hide the bears,.
They constantly claw their way in,.
Take away their house and offer them ours,.
Become a better person by getting over the past,.
There is nothing you can do,.
But set fire to the homes you lived in before,.
They mean nothing to you now,.
The memories still carry in your mind,.
The physical aspects can be left behind.,.
In time it can be sorted out,.

Something Like Stars, and Something about God's Pitching Arm
Something like stars feel from the sky,.
I watched them as they hit my eye like judgement day,.
They caressed my corneas like soft embers melting into ice,.
I thought I heard a sizzle as they landed,.
But when my head started imploding I knew it was love,.
Settling into my skull like some lost work of art,.
That was discovered by some insane art curator in a museum's corridors,.
I mused at the lessons I was taught by my teachers,.
How the cosmos have alignments and all that shit,.
Talks of meteors, gamma rays, solar winds blasting through...
I watched them as they hit my eye like judgement day,.

A Sky Unfolds
Skies, endless splendor,.
Seep forth from my eyes,.
Clouds form over haunted towns,.
They drown when I flick my tongue,.
They drown when you ripped me apart,.
Ancient cities burn asunder,.
As a sky blackens, a star is born,.
Above the milky way,.
A cosmic alliance is formed,.
With my mind closed off from reality,.
I imagine there is nothing but splendor,.
I imagine my dreams unfolding like a sky in god's eye,..,.,.,.

A Memo Left in an Abandoned Office Complex
Why don't you want to be held in a light,?
Standing in velvet with sapphires so bright,.
Why must we bury the sunlight,?
Why must we dance in the night,.
With no hope in sight,.
To ever seeing the end of the blight,.
Why do you hide in such fright,?
When will you sit in an Hawaiian park and fly a kite,?
I understand your plight,.
I truly have empathy and insight,.
But why must you let the world fuel your fear of heights,?
And let someone love you for who you are,...,?

There was a word spoken in the present tense,.
It spread into the future, it impacted the instance,.
Now it spreads like wildfire smiling in the wake of its grim decay,.
A mockery of what could be here today,.
It needs to be lead away,.

So I got catfished
I was lied to,.
Told of dreams and happiness,.
Lands unknown and hills not climbed,.
She told me so many things,.
But she was hiding so much more,.
All I had to do was look up her IP,.
She was not the far distance she claimed she lived,.
She was only two hours away!
I confronted her about it and she flipped her shit,.
She could say nothing but leave me alone,.
Like an idiot I begged to stay,.
I pleaded with her to be with me anyway,.

I am but a Devil
I stand in the thick of night,.
Sweat tickles me as it undulates under my Behemoth shirt,.
I have ran for far too long,.
I have swallowed by fucking pride for nothing,.
Now I stare at the moon,.
Panting like a rabid mutt,.
That cannot get enough of the smut,.
That seeps into his mind when his pack leaves shim behind,.
An aggravating disdain for truth,.
Is what the world holds onto,.
I wish I could promise to devour fear,.
To destroy everything in the wake of my giant hand,.

Obscurity is my Weakness...Hope is my Strength
Anger froths from my mouth,.
Boiling onto your skin,.
Depression conjures emotion,.
Projecting from hallow eyes,.
Intruding into my soul,.
I cannot let go,.
Smiles evoke a feeling of safety,.

Laughter grows as the day passes on,.

Scorched by the coals of naivety,.
Her pale wings beat anachronistically,.
