POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Cynical, satire and romantic with subtle surrealist touches. Not all in one go though obviously. Most of my poems are non rhyming, poetic short stories.
Another senseless political poem.
I see politicians
P.S.A's
like i see
kids in a playground
bragging about some lie
they just made up
or kids wearing obey
without knowing who

I heard they put them on display like windows.
It doesn't matter
how ugly you are
inside or out
you will still
be able to
find love
you'll just
need a lot of money
and have to
hide out
in the red-light district
in amsterdam
a lot.

But i hate you so no.
I'm a broken vessel
with shattered bones
but i'll keep on this journey
so you'll never be alone
and if time takes me
then I hope it doesn't take you
because you could do the greatest things
anyone could ever do
And with the stars stirring
inside your tired heart
you could repair this world
the moment it falls apart
And with the galaxy spreading
over your porcelain skin
You could become the sea, the waves
and all thats within
with shattered bones
but i'll keep on this journey
so you'll never be alone
and if time takes me
then I hope it doesn't take you

The preciousness of preciousness.
I never had the chance to tell you,
well, I had so many chances to tell you
but you're not one for deep sentiments,
you just like deep holes and deep intellects but;
I knew this would come, in between the morning
crows of here and the nights clouds of your roof
I saw the wandering gaze of someone who wasn't lost,
but realised they wanted to be and there I was, ready to be the cement
that gave you footing and a foundation, when I should have just given
you more fuel to burn away any attachments to this place.
So I guess, if any regrets I have, if I am...

We were sitting at the bus stop
"I wouldn't be surprised
if you were to be the one
that perishes in my arms,
to the point where you're
nothing but the literal
bag of bones you
pride yourself to be.
I wouldn't be surprised
either to hear that you've
dropped dead from starvation
or your heart bursting from
all the r&s's you indulge in
and i have to bury you
and preform your eulogy."
she continued
"Really, I wouldnt be surprised
in the slightest to hear
that someone checked
you into a psych ward
after one of your forced
exhiles,...

String theory
We started the night
with mixed drinks
and straight conversation,
your thighs felt like
a warm bath as my
hands melded
in between them,
completely drunk, we start
blacking out
our insecurities
so when we came home
we were ready to take
the routes that the nooks
and crevices our bodies
mapped out
I saw the cicatrixes
and the cracks of your body
as you hid pillars
and broke silence
rubbing
the marks
of a few lovers
withering passions
on my back as i ...

everyone who smiles at you
might not be a friend
out of everyone who kissed you,
only a few loved you until the end
Out of all the ones that left you
maybe no letters were sent
But just remember
your all in their heads.

We need another good revolution
In big black letters
on the back of a bathroom stall
Cried a broken mind
asking for change and that was all
I heard politicians said the same thing,
taking off their jewellery
before going to talk about the economy
in their mass hearings.
I hear kids say it too,
and preachers and fools
and drug addicts and junkies
and the poor and the hungry
But it never gets to the top,
it's only heard by their peers
it's all becoming a rat king,
and the cry is falling on deaf ears
I guess i can relate

train rides.
Peach pastels casted perfectly askew across
a captivatingly gaunt canvas.
Boldly defiant sapphires
bordering charcoal
blocks of cubism
fancies, Leviathan
intellect,
and
mesa cheeks
with hints of a
sanguine beam,
A perfect creature
with perfect focuses
timidly stroking
at my thigh on
the train,
i'd take this fawn home
and make her leak
like a faucet,
It's just unfortunate
that the lack of drunkness
and encouragement of
my partner is stoping me.

Ode
Dear all my friends
that never thought we'd see the end;
its funny how that theres a town
in between us and around us now,
with those sweeping streets and dimming lights
and the sweating heat that kept us up all night
where we'd play video games and smoke another blunt
and sometimes talk about giving up
and sometimes in the porch light where we'd lay
staring at the stars and waiting for the day
to come and fuck up our lives once again
but it's cool because we're with friends
But now our time has come to pass ...

Soft irish rain.
sitting on my roof
smoking cigarettes
watching a sunrise
develop into day time
feeling what my grandmother
would call the soft irish rain
listening to the birds scream
at me to go to bed
Asking me to return to her
and pleading me
to treat her
like you
So i light up
another cigarette and hope
that the sunrise
doesn't bleed to quickly
today.

i say fidget and think
Come kids, take me into your lungs
and feel your seems coming undone
find out lifes only good when you live it fast
so pack enough bowl and feel another relapse
Whoever said that the pupils didn't take
all of their life and their mistakes away
is a lying fuck and should be ignored
because none of those fucks know what your in for
They say avoid meth, heroin and pcp
but no one realises the value of speed
the dancing feet, the bullet sweats
honestly, it's just as bad as meth
At least the gear lets you sleep,
if you...
