I am just a ghost pretending
I wonder why I do not fade

No thoughts in my head
No heart to hate or love

Just Words On a Page
They are not real
You know
And neither am I
We are just
Words on a page
Pretty words
That I weave
Into fairytales
And make believe
Words that I hear
Words that I see
Words from a old
Blues song
I'm not your blue
Sky anymore

That House
Moving is wonderful and awful
Wonderful because it is a new beginning
Awful because you have
Years of stuff and it is overwhelming
And you get to the point when
You just want to leave it all behind
Wonderful because you are
Happy for the first time
In a long time
Awful because you are
Leaving your memories
You raised 3 children
In that house
You kicked out your
Cheating ass husband
In that house
Thanksgiving, taking pictures
Out in the orchard, the strange
Tree with the hole in the middle ...
Wonderful because it is a new beginning

Hate and Lust
You exist in your own world
And I don't exist at all
Far reaching dreams
Are only wished for
A letter, a message, a glance
Of course, I can't have you
A lost cause without a reason
A foolish dream of something better
Back to the past
Beyond what's next
Behind what I've seen
You and I - separated
By hate and lust
And that in itself
Is unbearable
Fix me or let me wither
What is left is yours
A ghost haunting it's own memories
In search of a promise
And I don't exist at all
Far reaching dreams
Are only wished for

Stupidity Laughing
Standing under the black skies
Drenched in the rain of sorrow
Struggling to understand
This world of lies
Will I never find it's end
Fate has destroyed
Me once again
Life, a castle of dry stone
Silence slowly spreads
And whispers in thin air
Just one more tear
One lost, little tear
Leaving bitterness on my tongue
Stupidity laughing in pity
Falling in love
With the idea of nothing

Nothing sounds sweeter
Than the silences of your breath
Nestled in my ear
As I drew that breath
Scented with your essence
You captured my soul
Peacefully we lie
Content in each other's arms
Nothing else matters
Gazing into your kind eye's
You lead, I follow
We may not fit right
But you can fix that problem
As you slowly take
Me away, to another world
Trailing fingertips
As morning rain trickles
Rocking back and forth
Every nerve trembling

Moonlight
Crawls into my window
Like cool breeze
Echoing within my soul
And I'm looking
Up at the stars
And I'm thinking
I should be where you are
Kissing the night away
Imagine us like this forever

The smell of love in the air

Insanity and Freedom
The mirrors image is fading
Everything is so distorted now
Were once pieces of a hopeful soul
Now whispers of tangled truths
Scattered to the winds without
Care without thought
Nothing else lives beyond
But emptiness - trillions of miles
Full of emptiness
I'm alone
Aimlessly roaming in the air
I don't know where I'm going
But at this moment
I don't really care
Days that will never return
I watch as they float
Throughout the horizon
I escaped from it all
To chase the brightest
Stars in the night...
