Dreams aren't what they seem
I want to hold you
hold you till the break of dawn...
lay you down nice and sweet
and love you all night long.
Run my fingers through your hair
stare deep into your blue eyes
tell you I'll always be there
and I'll wipe the tears you'll cry.
Put my hands all over your body
whisper in your ear
tell you how I want you so bad
tell you to touch right here.
Kiss my neck so soft
work your way on down
it'll be so difficult for me
to not make a single sound.
Lift me up with all your might
slowly gently and sweet...

Looks like I met
Douche bag #2
I thought he was great, nice and sweet
but that was all a lie too.
He told me he really liked me
didn't want my to go anywhere
but now he acts like I'm nothing
now I'm really going somewhere...
Away from him for good
I'm done with all the bullshit..
I liked him a lot, he just used me
I never thought it'd end like this.
I thought that we were friends
I could tell him anything
then he asked why should he care
and happiness is the last thing he'd bring.

Hitting on the Bus
My daughter came home crying yesterday
said she hit some little girl on the bus...
She's only 5, what should I've done?
so, I just told her it wasn't nice.
She stepped off the bus today
had this look in her eye
I asked her what she did today
and I told her not to lie.
She hit another little girl
because she told her she wasn't her friend
I wonder if this is all my fault?
When will all this end?
Is she acting out lately
because of everything between him and I?
I try not to act angry around her
but sometimes its hard not...

For a moment I'm mad at you...
tell you I'm moving the hell away
I wonder if the only reason I said that
is cause I wanted you to tell me to stay.
Threaten you a little
make you realize
You might miss me a little
a little part of you will die.
Throw your arms around me
tell me not to leave...
I'm the only thing you want right now
I've given you everything you need.
I guess that's not the case
if it is, you hide it well....
I hate how I've fallen for you
my life lately is hell.
The bad thing is I really need...

She Isn't Leaving
The last week has
been a grueling one.
Wondering if I'll lose her.
Wondering if I'm going
to die.
But....
My little girl still
sleeps in her nice warm
bed.
She still smiles and
laughs like she's
never heard anything
funny before.
She still caresses my
cheek when she
thinks I'm sad or upset.
She's still here.
Things didn't go so well
but she's still staying
with me.
They said they still know
she's safe with me.
I'm so happy she's still
here.
I already began to die

I've tried to talk to you endlessly
get you interested in what I have to say
but you don't, you won't...
I try all damn day.
Well, I'm done trying.
If you want, you can call me.
I'm not playing "cat and mouse" anymore
that's not how I want it to be.
If you like me, then like me
if you don't, fucking go away....
we were friends, then more
I loved talking to you every day.
But I can't go on with you like this
you're so distant and just gone...
We had some good times together

I missed him...
a lot.
He used to be my
best friend..
Then all of a sudden...
he was gone.
My world was turned
upside down and
I didn't know what
to do with

No more emails
no more texts
not hearing your appealing
voice.
we just stopped talking.
Good reasons behind it though.

between us would never work.

Leah!!!
So, my girl that I adore
is playing with gasoline
I know she's going to get hurt
and her lover holds the flame.
I see her sadness in her poems..
it makes me sad too.
She deserves so much better than that
but there's nothing I can do.
She's getting jerked around.
Her poems go from love to hate..
I hate just knowing she feels so bad
but I can definitely relate.
She gives me advice when I'm down

she cares about me and loves me

Love Isn't A Joke
Listening to music
incorporating every song to
our situation.
Grabbing your shoulder saying
"I love you, baby" in a sarcastic
voice like we do when we
joke around.
We were okay a week ago.
We've been such good friends
I can tell you everything and
anything...
but then we kiss..."make love"
then everything changes again.
Back to the jokes.
Makes me wonder if I'm the
joke.
A great night, laughing, making
fun about the gutsy people
singing silly songs for karaoke
night at our local podunk bar.

I don't know how to take you
you seem so distant.
First you smile at me like
I'm your one and only...
Then the next day you don't
give me the time of day.
You say you're "busy"
but it never stopped you
from talking to me daily before.
It's like now I'm expected to
lie down with you every time
we go out.
I'm tired of it.
I'm just so tired, period.
We laugh and have so much fun...

so I don't get my shoes wet.
Open the truck door for me...

This song is kinda convenient given the circumstances in our life right now. She was gone last night to her dads and I missed singing her bed time song that I've sang to her since she's been in my belly. She knows it word for word.
