POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Full Glass
Glass
Half empty
Glass
Half full
Glass
Full with water
Glass
Full with air
Glass
It can’t be empty
If it were it’d be black hole
Sucking in the light of my life
Taking away all that is bright
Glass
Half full
Of Water
Half full
Of Air
Your empty glass
Sends mine a glare
Your emptiness won’t suck away
My happiness
But I hope my happiness
Will bring you air
To fill the emptiness
And bring back the light
And fill your lungs
And make your life bright
Glass
It’s full
No...
Half empty
Glass
Half full

Sucking in the light of my life
Taking away all that is bright

I laugh
I cry
I say what I want
But why?
When I try to keep it in
It leaves like it's not mine
The horror leaves me feeling like swine
Broken looks and deepend frowns
I bite my cheeks horrified
By the words that I conceived
I laugh
I cry
Yet I feel the same all the time
I express what I don't feel
As if my emotions aren't real
It helps my ego's wounds heal
Even when it's gone
I'd love to control it
I want to mold it
Make it prettier and sweeter
A little less like me
A simple...

He fell like a star
He fell like a star
Brought light like he should
Grew legions of demons
Equally righteous to the good
He’s not evil like in the books
He’s a calm chaos
In the eye of the hurricane
Dreaming of peace and escape
But stigma won’t let him set a foot outside
Begging and searching but nothing happens
His voice is quiet and trapped
His sins are the heaviest
And they lay upon his shoulders
Like the world upon God
But the people who know of him
Refuse to raise the burden
For the one who needs it most
Is often the one...
