Two Blue Pills
I stare at them
two blue pills
mocking me
giiving me chills
Who needs sleep
made in a lab
Just stay awake
Won't be that bad
Hours drag on
Two blue pills still sit on the stand
Swallowing them seems like
Too much of a demand
Sleep is vulnerable
We can't have this
So I dont need the pills
Just give me bliss
two blue pills
mocking me
giiving me chills
Who needs sleep
made in a lab
Just stay awake
Won't be that bad

Its getting closer
Dont make me go
Her defenses are high
while mine are low
She'll attack me
with fists or words
Dont leave me alone
her strengths are unknown
If she doesn't leave marks
She'll make fun
Dont make me go
Or I'll run
Leave this place
Get away from them
Never see their faces
Ever again

Sorrowed Past
stop, stop before I break
this is more than I can take
one thing after another
it keeps on coming
overloaded, I might start running
leave it behind and run away
too much to handle for one day
can you come too?
always room for two
we're both stressed and we know it
we're both hurting, but don't show it
the happy mask is deteriorating
enemy troops are infiltrating
we're a sinking ship; we're going down
might as well show our frowns
they are winning
tears are brimming
this is all my stupid fault
push the brakes, come to a...

Poverty vs. Passion
I'm inside a hazy fog
Your words come out as mumbles
I try to catch the words you speak
But I'm distracted by my stomach rumbles
Money is low, and so is food
I try to listen and try to learn
But my pain is so damn crude
I close my eyes and finally relax
The blessed time has come at last
The bell rings and I hurry off
Expression and freedom
I get to dance
I slide on my slippers and i let go
Slip into a wonderous trance
Let it out in a movement flow
Do it all with love and grace
Maybe you will finally deserve ...

Capitals
i dont capitalize the 'i'
i'm too insignificant
For an uppercase letter,
you'd need to be magnificent
One in billions
i blend into the crowd
One voice against them all
They're way too loud
i want to be in textbooks
i want to be remembered
i'd have to stand out
but not as a pretender
Not a natural right,
the capital letter is earned
i need to be great or else
i will die of the capital yearn

Talent I lack
Friends, i have none
They always talk behind my back
Never have I won
known as an outcast
always alone
My life will never last
without a place to call home
Anger boils
over the years
always resulting
in thousands of tears
Small to the world
Nothing important
If I could
I'd dissolve in an instant
Under a rock I want to crawl
Not feeling big, not even at all
