I like you just fine
an expensive wine
both mellow and bold
with a spirit of gold
a shining light
in the darkest night
my simple plea
just to be free
and maybe just one kiss
before the final abyss

The stars pulse      
to the rhythm of my heart          
the tides ebb and flow          
with the roaring of my blood          
life now thrown to the winds of fate          
I watch creation unfolding            
hoping  I am strong enough          
praying that I am pure enough          
to hold heaven in my soul          
and give myself to the world          
opening my arms to the stars          
I find a universe inside          
as my spirit turns inside out          
and explodes like the sun           ...

I bought some magic seeds today
to grow peace and laughter
but they just sat around
and moped just like me
until I added a little love of my own
now my life, so simple and plain
is full of friends and happiness
because you see,
it's how you water the seeds that counts

Oh, how stars do weep their light
to cry sparkling in the night
watching eternal desire
as the sun falls from heaven on fire
to endlessly chase earth's sensual embrace
yet earth demurely hides her face
with darkness and shadowy lace
using pale moonlight as her cover
nighttime is now her lover
