Grocery shooting
I sink to the floor
And let my tears fly
They come more and more
Yet I do not know why
My day repeats in my head
But nothing comes to mind
Then I can only see red
And the smell too horrid to find
Then all I can taste is copper
It's filling my mouth
This one is a stopper
As memory floods back south
I hear the water running
Outside of the stall
As my memory comes back
I fall back against the wall
My hand then comes to my chest
Feeling the bloody wound
The trip to the store wasnt the best
Seeing as...
And let my tears fly

Yet I do not know why

Preventions
Don't trust the love
That pours from your heart
It will mess with your head
And rip you apart
It will start with your insides
To the tip of your core
Then it will start to claw
Causing you pain more and more
Like the sound of song birds
In the morning haze
It will start out soft
But leave you in a daze
Then when you think
That it has stopped
It will come back
Making your heart quickly drop
You're left staggering around
Wishing for a lost hope
When suddenly you find out
What could quickly help you...
That pours from your heart
It will mess with your head
And rip you apart

Feel what I cant
Most days
I don't know what I'm feeling
So I write about the fake
In hope of some stealing
They ask what's wrong
When they read what I write
But truthfully I write what I should feel
Because my mind gave up the fight
It's as numb as my heart
Which is as numb as my fate
Yes, my fate is numb
Frozen with pain and hate
Tell me what the hell I'm supposed to feel
Because I don't know anymore
I'm emotionally "not there"
Because I'm empty from the core
Don't ask me what's wrong
How the hell should I...

World Crashes Down
When a world crashes down
Some can only stare
It shows us for who we are
And how everything is bare
When a world crashes down
Some try to leave
But running doesn't work
When you're being chased by grief
When a world crashes down
Another one is cheering
One less opponent
Means less to be fearing
And when a world crashes down
Many lives will go
None will care
But it's at least good to know

Do you mean harm?
Lost like a shadow
In the dark
I try to follow you
But you forgot to leave marks
Maybe it was accidental
I'm not quite sure
But you aren't here
To help me reassure
I'm soon to be falling
Inch by inch
Into the nearest grave
Before I could flinch
But before I touched bottom
I looked up to see
You standing there
Laughing off key
And maybe it wasn't at me
I'm not quite sure
But you aren't here
To help me reassure
I stick up for you
Like you are me
I always think you mean no harm...

A Foot Away
There's a look on your face
And a tear in your eye
You look so sad
You could make a rock cry
You start to tremble
While I can only stare
I don't know what to do
But at least I am there
I've never seen you like this
So lost and broken
You were either cold like ice
Or laughing and jokin'
I wish I could clear your mind
And help you forget
But I'm afraid to move
Thinking it would be something to regret
So I'll stay where I am
Only a foot away
Always here
Just waiting for the nod okay
And a tear in your eye
You look so sad

Hope Will Let You Down
I play my guitar
In hope of some gain
But we all know
I can't without pain
I write my stories
In hope of inspiration
But we all know
There is none in this nation
I think silly thoughts
In hope of mortality
But we all know
I should start chasing reality
And I trust too many people
In hope of some trust back
But we all know
Trust is something we all lack
Hope will get you no where
Because this is life
You will get pushed down faster
Than someone with a knife
In hope of some gain
But we all know

Reality
I never keep my dreams alive
And my heart awake
Because I never know
What’s at stake
I keep my eyes closed
Until I feel something good
I just don’t want to open them
And lose my wonderful mood
I really want to know your secret
I want to know how
I want to know how to forget
And I want to know now
Because I get caught up
In reality more than I should
Sometimes I wish my dreams
Could take over and make some good
But dreams are like something rare
To me, they’re never in reach
Not unless someone gives...

What's the point
In romantic stories
Or ones that are heartbroken
There are always people
Looking at clouds as a token
I don't see why
Clouds are so popular though
They are just things
That move as the wind blows
They don't help you in life
They don't help you find true love
And they especially dont help you
When you threatenly get shoved
And they aren't something
That will help you with your issues
It's not like they're going to tear a piece off
And let you use them as a tissue
So what's the big deal about them?

The Affair
Once upon a time
There was this lovely couple
They planned to grow old together
Because they thought of no trouble
But little did they realize
That there was something on the way
Something big, something different
And well, something not every day
He had planned to take her somewhere
Because well, he loved to see her smile
But he got caught up in his work
So he just sent her on her while
He said “follow the address
It’ll take you where you need to go
And remember I love you
I just wanted you to know.” ...

In this box
With 23 locks
There is my soul to take
And my soul to break
And with this key
Which opens all needs
You can take my soul
And break it from its whole
And while you're at it
Since something doesn't quite fit
You can take my heart too
And maybe sell it for something new
But if you don't care
Dispose my body fair
Keep it looking like its fresh
And don't let anything eat my flesh
You've been a good friend
In a weird kind of trend
So take anything you want ...

Understandable
Confusing thoughts
Are lingering my mind
Realizing I lost you
Are what they defined
Somehow it happened
It slipped from my grasp
Even when my hands
Where tightly clasped
People are like sand
In between your fingers they fall
Then they slip through the cracks
In the floors and the walls
They say they are yours
But when it comes down to life
There are no cures
For being lowlife
But I guess it's okay
With you leaving and all
I have other friends
They just missed my silent call
