POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
My spring has only come, and I have yet to blossom in the works of poets!
Still Haunted
Missed her by a sec,
S'got my head in a sack,
Give me back a minute,
I'm desperate,
I mean it!
Infatuation's wack,
Common-sense does it lack,
My situation's a smack,
I'd fill it and kill it,
I feel it,
I mean it!
Just a minute,
I wish it.
The ticking time,
Tick-tack taking time,
No reason nor rhyme,
In regret I'm baking,
"If only", I'm talking,
Missing her by a sec
I wouldn't have.
S'got my head in a sack,
Give me back a minute,
I'm desperate,
I mean it!
Infatuation's wack,
Common-sense does it lack,
My situation's a smack,
I'd fill it and kill it,
I feel it,
I mean it!
Just a minute,
I wish it.
The ticking time,
Tick-tack taking time,
No reason nor rhyme,
In regret I'm baking,
"If only", I'm talking,
Missing her by a sec
I wouldn't have.

Hounds Unleashed
Mysteries come raveled,
The more unraveled
They become,
The more the mystery abounds,
Unleashing and lashing its hounds,
Set on open and rolling grounds,
Captivating, leashing and slashing
The inquisitor.
The more unraveled
They become,
The more the mystery abounds,
Unleashing and lashing its hounds,
Set on open and rolling grounds,
Captivating, leashing and slashing
The inquisitor.

I Like Mine Trimmed
Put on exhibition for
All my five senses to indulge,
Liberating my need to scrounge.
I like mine trimmed,
Around the lake
Of pleasures unknown,
Of men's dreams vanquished and made.
I like mine trimmed,
Ever neat,
Ever clean,
Mouth gaping,
Mouth watering.
What won't I give,
For a slight brush,
For a mild whiff,
Perhaps just a lap at the moor,
A sip of the spring's
Rejuvenating yield would
I adore the more.
I like mine trimmed,
Rolling hills
And gentle valleys,
Curves be the essence...
All my five senses to indulge,
Liberating my need to scrounge.
I like mine trimmed,
Around the lake

The Fringe II: In The End
At curtains down,
After the show's sold out,
At the fringe of town,
Or where civilisation's without,
In the beginning
Is an end,
In the end
Is a beginning.
At the confluence,
Of rising and dying breeds,
The inferno of influence
Now extinguished,
Borrowed seeds
Are all that's distinguished,
Fuck a rotten legacy,
Plagued with fallacy
It grew to become.
Today's another day,
New days like all things
Are always welcome,
With ransacked treasures
My dues do I pay to pave the way.
I am the first of a rising breed,...

The Fringe I: Curtains Up
On the border,
I'm boarding my bothers,
How many pivots;
How many spigots,
Doth life have;
Bumps, humps, jumps,
Hurdles and hoops?
Right in the middle,
Between neither-nor,
And, either-or,
Good things come
To those who wait,
But always with
A grain of salt.
Gain's welcome;
Pain's the weight,
And always
Born by default.
Winning is an end;
Losing is an end,
And quitting is a choice,
A means to either end.
I am on the border,
Boarding my bothers.
Life always issues vacancies,
To takers,
Both...

Untoward Goodbyes
Holes, chasms, pits.
Darkness, queasiness, dizziness.
Feelings, emotions; heartbeats.
Uselessness, loneliness; weariness.
Untoward goodbyes
Unwanton become be.
Non-living undead,
Unwarranted, I now be.
Untoward goodbyes
In whispers clad,
Bleeding hearts drag,
Fleeting dreams banished,
Untoward goodbyes
At astute lovers dreams hack,
Laugh and slur at,
Slimey hands on hearts grip,
Untoward goodbyes,
Our souls weep,
Perhaps all were lies:
Tomorrows,
Wishes;
Hopes vanquished,
I shall let go,
I...

Life's A Beach
Yeah, well!
Last one in,
First one out!
Either way it's
The same difference
To the same story,
The same different reference.
Life sure is a beach,
Life's shore is'a bitch!
At every turn's a ditch,
What assurance
Does insurance reach,
For even the rich
Aren't beyond reach,
Nor are they that rich,
Still against our hearts
Does death make issuance,
In wealth it gains forever,
And still seems the same shocker,
Each time a knocker.
Yeah, well!
Even the finest beach
Does have harsh pebbles,

An Ounce of Life
An ounce of life,
Little feet,
And tiny hands,
The pure eyes
That reflect innocence,
The tender body,
Tender infant giggles,
And tender cries
We hate to love,
And love to hate.
The thieves
That steal our affection,
Our hearts without
Remorse or regret,
Without speaking a word,
Without knife or gun,
Robbers of our love,
Apt are they in their timing,
Even the stone hearted
Oft melt at their sight;
Forsaken shrewed robbers.
An ounce of life,
Once had there been,
Now gone, departed,
Left us...

Life
A stream or a dream?
Either way life has its horror,
Life has its humour.
Its own way it goes,
By its own rules it shows.
Or is it?
Or do some just better fit?
The power hungry dogs,
And the good-for-nothing logs
Who just drag their asses,
And say their curses,
While the romantics kiss,
The ignorant miss
Oportune moments,
Their excuses are their torments,
The lame blames,
The same stupid games,
Time and again,
No wisdom do they ever gain.
In poverty some languish,
