The world looks down on poetry because it makes them frown
Poets speaks truth
And from truth the world always run
Who said I can't do impromptu?
Who said to myself I can't be true?
Who said poetry is dead?
Not to me
Maybe to you
But inspite of
Remember this
That the world would rather stifle you
And fill you with doubt
Than give you wings and a voice to shout
